Thanks for the link - it could be quite appealing for OT fans like me, RRP-depending of course!  I don't think I'll be rushing out to buy it, but at the inevitable 30-40% discount I'll grab a couple.  Like others have mentioned it might be a good expansion set for the old 75052, assuming that it's scaled similarly.

And, in other news, both 75098 & 75095 are now listed on the LEGO website as 'retiring soon' - I assume that's due to mediocre sales?  If Insult on Hoth survives until the Christmas clearance sales I might be tempted, but otherwise it will be a very easy pass for me!

I've just found a provisional listing for 75200 - Ahch-To Island Training on the Smyths website (link) which shows it as £25.99 in the UK.

That doesn't seem too bad, especially compared to other recent releases (e.g. 75176 Resistance Transport Pod, with a truly ridiculous RRP of £39.99!).

Anyone know why Target has the sandspeeders in stock but hidden in the back and lego does not have any official info of it on their site either. At what point will Target put them online and on store shelves to sell? I am very curious on this :)

Nice to include the stud with bar parts and to have the right colour-scheme.

Grevious speeder and ach to have incredibly low piece counts. I'm actually surprised about the crait defense piece count

Sandspeeder is on shop@home with the following description:

Expand your LEGO® Star Wars collection with the Sandspeeder. This variant of the iconic Snowspeeder features some fascinating details, including desert camouflage elements, opening minifigure cockpit and button-activated spring-loaded shooters. There's also a toppling moisture vaporator, which any budding Sandspeeder pilot will love to use for target practice. This LEGO Star Wars toy includes 2 minifigures.

  • Includes 2 minifigures: a Sandspeeder Pilot and a Sandspeeder Gunner.
  • Sandspeeder features an opening minifigure cockpit, spring-loaded shooters and sand-colored camouflage elements.
  • Also includes a moisture vaporator build with topple function.
  • Weapons include 2 blaster pistols.
  • This LEGO® Star Wars toy is suitable for ages 7-12.
  • Sandspeeder measures over 2” (6cm) high, 6” (17cm) long and 5” (14cm) wide.
  • Vaporator measures over 5” (13cm) high, 1” (5cm) wide and 3” (10cm) deep.

Nothing mentioning TLJ or whatever. Just a creative license set or something that is concept and yet to appear on screen. I definitely welcome more creative license or EU sets!

So technically the Ahch-to set can be classed as a 2017 one now? :P

Well it’s already out in Ireland so yes! I might pick it up at the weekend.

Just to clarify, it isn't being sold in Dublin yet - official Disney social media has clarified that we'll have to wait until the 15th, as shown above.

There was a Brickset article pointing out new parts in 2018 sets, and among them was what appeared to be 4 2x3x2 slopes in Luke's Hut... I'm a little bit disappointed that they are in fact two older pieces.

Can't believe this is an official description of the Sandspeeder! All moisture farmers will be for sure really upset with those "rebels" fighting against their livelihood! They would think they were somehow rustlers... These speeders are in Jakku, but if they were in Tatooine, then there would be no surprise young people would like to join the Imperial Academy .
