Is that a new face print on C3PO? The white in the nose/mouthpiece is new, but that could just be the light I guess...

Luke also looks a lot better with the hood on imo.

There's still a LEGO Club Magazine?!

Yeah there still is, my subscription should have run out years ago but I think it got renewed. As @The_Chosen_1 said, it's been re branded as Lego Life and it seems that this has been a downgrade (no free Christmas polybags anymore)

Luke looks way better with the hood. Im hoping that the catalog means that we'll see Luke with his hood in the set, not just his hair.

As for C3PO,

C3po new face?

The hood looks great on Luke. Hopefully its included in the set. Its always nice to see that piece in new colors. I don't think that's new printing on C-3PO's face, just the reflection of the lighting. Shame the Leia on the poster is the Force Awakens version - guess this means we won't be seeing her in the Winter wave.

I take back what I said about Mace Windu's face - I saw a close up of the figure on Instagram and its definitely a different print to the First Order Finn. They really nailed the likeness with the new face design! But again the lack of side leg printing is the one thing that's really holding the figure back.

That Snow... *ekhem* Sandspeeder strongly hints for at least a small sub-wave of Battlefront II sets :sweet: I wish however that this set included at least one more minifig, like a Stormtrooper to have something to fight against.

It's placed for 99% before TLJ (however could be a retrospection) because you can see the gate to Niima outpost, it was destroyed when Rey and Finn escaped in the Falcon.

OR...they just slapped a random landmark there for good measure since this vehicle was only seen in legends before.

Don't read too much into this. THey just start to run out of justifiably re-releases and need something to work off. They probably discussed with LFL, and it will appear on some animated show so the kids can wish for this set.

We had battlepacks for the "original" Battlefront, and now it seems we get bigger sets for this one. Still hope for Inferno squad :)

For everyone who thinks the Sandspeeder must be from TLJ or TFA because of Niima outpost:

Backgrounds don't mean a thing... or does anyone really believe Snoke built a new Death Star that we will see in The Last Jedi?

^ not only that, those TIEs are not First Order or First Order Special Forces... they are OT TIEs!  Kylo's TIE clearly has time travel abilities.

Does anyone want to discuss the tan fins (1x8 rudder) on the side of the sandspeeder?

This new set is great - I love the idea of whitesnakes poppin' out of moisture vaporators. Obviously, this is a brilliant set and I can see from the posts around here today that most of us are very pleased that at last they have managed to include exploding snakes into the play features of a set. On the front of the box it appears that the rock area might provide space for the snake to hide. On the back, the Resistance/Rebel pilot is shooting at the snake.

Fins look okay... they don’t look bad, but I agree with some of the other comments that it still is just a snowspeeder with tan bricks...

”the speeders are having trouble adapting to the sand” ?

If you are looking into buying a popular UCS (or UCS style/size) set which currently has 2nd market asking prices wayway higher than original retail prices, only do so if one or both of the following is true:

* money is absolutely no issue for you

* you cannot - in any case whatsoever - wait between 5-25 months (depending on which specific set) to get your hands on it

re-release order can also roughly be guessed by difference between original retail price & current 2nd market prices - the higher that difference, the sooner re-release is likely

another -very obvious- factor: the closer a specific set in its original release form is to todays standards (and/or easily updated with new elements) the shorter its announcement-release timeframe will be

all the same goes for creator/town houses/etc, btw..

expect less new set creations in that (and other) market segments for the upcoming years than we've been spoilt with the recent years.

way to tantalize the good people of this forum, looking forward to the pages-long wild guessing after this. Aren't we supposed to avoid such zero-information posting like this? :sceptic:

Basically what you just said is: there will be UCS re-releases.

THanks for nothing, reported to mod-s

Dude, the guy's brand new...

Would it be safe to guess that the TLJ and Solo battle packs will have a couple of non-trooper/army builder minifigs included, or is that a maybe? I'd be excited to get some if that was the case, but it hasn't really been my thing at all in the past, so I don't really know either way.

Thanks for the info!

I'll take little news over no news or complaints about rumors all day

Earlier in the year, you mentioned the UCS ISD would be next. Is that still up to date?

I think that people are guessing that the sandspeeder is a Battlefront 2 (iv) battle of jakku set.

I - I'm honestly blown away that no one has brought this up yet, given the global nature of the site that allows someone to be around at pretty much anytime.

Since a fellow on a certain subreddit, which is not the one that you're thinking of, mentioned that Walmart has a ton of SW 2018 set names listed - like Defense of Crait and Han Solo Vestas Chariot, I guess that I can mention them now. Crazy, right?

That sounds interesting. Can you tell me where can we find full sets name list, please?)

Yes, you are right, bro. The previous names were not so ancient greek:grin:

I mean, you understand that it's a different film in every way, right? The plot could be literally anything.

I avoided doing this, @BorisBritva77, because IIRC we're not allowed to do so.

I do agree it could be anything, but didnt someone say pegasus was a codename somewhere on here not too long ago? As for star wars refferencing other religions or dieties from earth, it is almost unheard of no?
