Hi there,
after assembly 42043, I wanted to make a little copy. It turned out for me or not, it's up to you.

Motorized functions.
- Steering (Servo motor)
- Driving and tilting of cargo bay (L motor)

Manual switching functions "driving - tilting of cargo bay". When cargo bay is lifted, the side automatically opens.
The cargo bay is mounted on a separate frame and fixed to six connectors to the truck chassis. So you can easily replace it with another element.
The trailer is made similar to a truck.

That's a very cool little Mercedes. Great work putting all those PF parts in there and still looking great. Love the functions and the trailer

It's not just compact. That front is extremely advanced with all those odd angles. That is quite well done, and the PF elements are tucked away nicely. Beautiful.

Nice build, really clever how the gears of the cargo bay connects to the gears on the truck once it is mounted.

This is excellent. Well done on all the complicated functions, and the complexity of the cab with all the various styling elements is very sharp.

Guys, thank you all for the feedback. I am glad that you enjoyed this little truck.
I forgot to say. I could not get clutch-gear, and I had to make a homemade version. But it is very simple and anyone can do it myself.

really nice truck and trailer, but does it only tip from the side?  The tipping gate mechanism looks interesting.

Great front end for sure!

As for that clutch gear, that's an interesting idea. I've seen 3L axles with studs used in the same way before, it's a good pure-Lego alternative to what you have there. Sariel also made this alternative:

Either way, very great model! :)

Thanks, I tried this option, but I do not have enough space. From below there is a differential and along the length I have 5 studs

Hmm, I see how you're limited by space now. Couple other ideas come to mind, but I'd have to build the model to see how it'd all fit together. Anyways, great model again! :classic:
