Day 42 cont.

"We were invited to speak with the king, or head priest. The word didn't really translate. We were brought up into the temple where the King's throne was. The rest of our party waited outside."

"The King asked us if we we could provide us with more sacrifices, in turn they would provide us with gold. Additionally, they wanted guns and steel swords so they could defeat the other tribe on the island. I tentatively agreed."

"The king was pleased. He then asked us if we knew any Mardiens. I replied to him that we did not.

"Suddenly, a warrior came running in. He said something in a panicked voice."

"The two warriors were summarily executed. The king raised his hands in surrender."

"The Mardien Captain Shot the king. He fell to the ground dead. 'Good to see some civilized people around here,' he said to me."

"You've saved us quite a bit of time sir. I said. 50/50 split of the gold? I know you wouldn't want to risk a war with Corrington..."

"Sounds good to me," He said, and side by side, we worked together to steal all the gold."

Great looking temple there. I like the texturing on the ground with the foliage pieces.
