Darkdragon Posted March 1, 2017 This is a stunning setup. I love it! The build of that train is beautiful, and all your parts look normal colored! Almost all my classic space blues and greys are at least somewhat discolored from sun or something. Great work
BubbaFit45531 Posted March 2, 2017 I've been thinking I want to make some sort of rail transit system myself and never had a Lego train set ever.
Artanis I Posted March 2, 2017 Very nice setup. And you have most of the light & sound sets there too. When I had a bigger place I would go into the room, turn them all on and watch the flashing LEDs in the dark with the monorail trains going around for ages. Umbra-Manis Posted March 2, 2017 This is a very impressive layout, and I love the complexity of the track setup!
infector Posted March 2, 2017 Oh I saw this on reddit! Cool stuff man, it's a really awesome setup :)
Mesabi Posted March 2, 2017 Very, very nice. Getting all of that monorail track must have been a pain, but I think its worth it
sander1992 Posted March 2, 2017 That is a very nice monorail train. I wish it was a set.
AFOLguy1970 Posted March 2, 2017 Wow, that is a lot of Classic Space. That is great how the monorail weaves throughout the space base. It is a nice design and blends in well with the massive collection.
Leviathan Bricks Posted March 2, 2017 Blue, yellow and grey. Could there be a sexier color combination?
Artanis I Posted March 3, 2017 I forgot to comment on the train! It's nice, even though the parts & look are more modern than the vintage sets. But I couldn't get a good look at the rear section. Is it passenger seating? The big window is attractive even if there's nothing to see inside. 5 hours ago, Leviathan Bricks said: Blue, yellow and grey. Could there be a sexier color combination? Black, yellow & red. With a black jumpsuit. Everyone knows it!
Criosphynx Posted March 3, 2017 That's quite a collection! I like the remake of the monorail train.

drdesignz Posted July 17, 2017 The entire layout has been taken down. But I've bought more track and built three more monorails, all ready to go now for Brickfair An M:Tron version, built entirely with only the original M:Tron pieces from 1990-91 on a Airport Shuttle chassis, a Blacktron version, built entirely with only the original Blacktron I pieces from 1987-1988 on a Unitron monorail chassis, and a Space Police I version, completing the second generation space themes, also built entirely with only the original pieces from 1989 on a Futuron monorail chassis. Artanis I Posted July 17, 2017 Terrific, all 3. I never finished my SP1 train. I see that you have cheated with a black motor, but apart from that I am glad that you've used parts from the period, I think it helps to fit in with a display of the official sets. drdesignz Posted July 17, 2017 The black motor is actually a regular motor covered in plasti-dip, a rubber coating that can peal off later.
