MOC: The Goodbury Starling Mark IX

The Goodbury Group are proud to present their latest in NulGrav racing machines: The Starling Mark IX Speeder bike. 

Unveiled recently to celebrate the bi-centenary of Goodbury's foray into high performance  bikes, the Starling Mark IX will be put through its paces on the world stage at the Dakar Rally of 2175.  Racing Pilot Tab "Redline" Aeron has made it clear she plans to win while pushing the bike to its limits.

My entry to the LSB 2017 contest. I heard about it about a week ago and had to turn my hand to a speederbike to enter! This probably took about six hours of work and I can't even say how many parts I used. At the very core (as the base building off point) is a simple horse saddle and it just moves from there. 

The real inspiration for this was the amazing art of Chris Foss. Not only do I have the recent art-book presenting his work, I also have the Terran Trade Authority handbooks which used a lot of his work.
