LEGO Colour Questions

Recommended Posts

Hey there! Couldn't find any suitable thread so I thought I'd start one :classic:

What's the purpose? Finding and gathering information about colours which have been used by Lego and for LEGO pieces.

To start it off, I have quite a simple question: I have the chance to get my hands on Set 7047. I was wondering if the colour used for the water on the included baseplate is matching normal 32x32 baseplates in Blue?

I just checked and it is indeed regular blue, though keep in mind that it transitions to Brick Yellow (tan) in the back.

@Lyichir Thanks a lot for your help, very appreciated

The back doesn't concern me much, important was the question if I could blend in the front into an existing layout with blue baseplates. Seems to work out, then.

This is really making me miss baseplates. I wonder why Lego no longer does them. I wish I still had mine from childhood. My favorite one was a Castle one and sadly it broke when I was in high school. :(
