Gulagurag Posted January 1, 2017 (edited) The sound of waves upon the beach was the first sign Amara had that she was alive. The rhythmic swooching of water surging into the beach echoed in her ears and matched the pace of water splashing against her legs. The warm, wet sand upon her cheek was soothing. Like a silken pillow in a fancy hotel, it caressed her and beckoned for her to sleep just a little longer. Her mind resisted the urge and began to flood her consciousness with memories of the battle. Canon fire, splintering wood and the screams of the dying pushed all the comforts away and brought Amara back to reality sharply. She opened her eyes and was momentarily blinded by the bright sun reflecting off of the ocean. Sitting up, she blinked several times to regain her vision. As her sight returned, she spied pieces of her ship, Athena`s grace, littering shoreline. Deep jungle grew close by. Amara couldn't recall how long she had floated on those waves after her boat sank nor what direction she had gone, but she was alive. There was no time to waste. Her revenge would not be denied. The anger inside her roared up and set her focus. She would return to Charlatan Bay, procure a ship and crew and quench her rage on the blood of all that crossed her path. Standing, Amara strode confidently into the jungle on the first leg of her long journey back. Garmadon Posted January 2, 2017 Neat build, Gulagurag! The studlessly smooth sand looks quite nice, and I really like the inclusion of those printing boards as well! Good work with that bit of the jungle too, and I'm looking forward to seeing where this all goes!
Capt Wolf Posted January 2, 2017 Those sloped curves for the beach look great! And I really like the assorted vegetation you've built. Good story and MOC!
