Kai NRG Posted December 29, 2016 I don't have much to say about this, so without further ado: Well, I spent an awful long time on this build, but I think it was worth it. Very happy with the blue ice color I was able to achieve - in fact I was pleasantly surprised to see how well the tower technique lent itself even to a trans-blue. Of course it would have been neat to make a bigger castle, but I pretty much maxed out on ice pieces. A shout out to my younger sister who helped out here and there and who I bounced a lot of ideas off of! Thank you for looking!

The Loreman Posted December 29, 2016 WOW. This MOC is beautiful. Good colors, the gold really is a great accent. I absolutely love the triangular design of the castle. Well done!
Slegengr Posted December 29, 2016 Excellent build, Kai! The colors really make this ice castle stand out, both the icy blue and snowy white offset by the black doors and gold accents! Interesting techniques all around with the rounded towers and triangular shape! Though I have seen the door hinge design before, your use is really striking with the color scheme. The stone platform is interesting with the beautiful snow drifts on top with the small hanging parts. The snowflake spires are a perfect addition here and neatly built! I just wish you did have more to say about this, especially with some sort of story.
peedeejay Posted December 29, 2016 This looks very cool (pun intended ;-)). Stunning rockwork with the snow on top!
mikeright Posted December 29, 2016 Looks fantastic! Did you have to put any stress on the bone pieces around the gate for them to fit like that?
Svendp Posted December 30, 2016 Very cool. I think Elsa would approve as well :)
Fletcher Floyd Posted December 30, 2016 This is one true beauty and should be one of the favourites in the "Ice Castle"-Category. Great job!

A triangular design was handy to save me from having to build four walls... 22 hours ago, Slegengr said: Excellent build, Kai! Well, at least, not of that kind... 7 hours ago, Svendp said: Very cool. BrickCurve Posted January 3, 2017 Looks brilliant! Everything form the shaping and colour usage, to the snow landscaping is perfect! It could be so easily repurposed into something for GoH...

Well, yes, it could maybe fit GoH, but I felt that would be a bit of a stretch and didn't really want to spoil it with a bunch of monstrous Algus figs anyways.
