sunhuntin Posted December 22, 2016 Some great parts in there. Pity they didn't go with the other balloon design, but never mind.
temes Posted December 22, 2016 It's super-cute and lovely set, but I think I'll display it without the balloon... it doesn't look right there.
Withacee Posted December 22, 2016 (edited) Yes, I just noticed 40236, and I think it's smashing. Just like the "Painting Easter eggs" set. Edited December 22, 2016 by Withacee
Lyichir Posted December 22, 2016 I wonder if next year's seasonal sets will all be outdoor vignettes, the same way 2015's were indoor vignettes...

DarrellBricker Posted December 22, 2016 Super happy that the vignettes are back ... this looks pretty good, overall, and will definitely aim to pick one up!
Roebuck Posted December 23, 2016 Finally the vignettes are back! This one looks very nice, my only complaint is that the bird is brick built not a mould.. I guess the Easter one will be revealed soon, if there is a picture of it like last year in the building instructions
DarrellBricker Posted December 23, 2016 I am hoping it's an Easter Egg hunt with an Easter Bunny (guy in Bunny Costume, like the CMF) ... but we shall see!
Brickthusiast Posted December 23, 2016 We have gotten our hands on the LEGO 40236 Romantic Valentine set early. Here's the back of the instructions with the LEGO 40237 Easter Seasonal visual. Don't know how to post a pic but here's the link: http://www.bouwsteentjes.info/eerste-foto-lego-seasonal-40237-easter/ Cheers guys and have a splended Christmas

Robert8 Posted December 24, 2016 Review of the St Valentine's Day set.... (on Christmas ) http://www.promobricks.de/review-lego-seasonal-2017-valentinstags-picknick-40236/24036
Soupperson1 Posted December 24, 2016 As a fan of Friends I think I can recreate that entire set, par the boy's torso. On the other hand that new Easter set is amazing with the tan palisade bricks, more Ragana fences and a lime wheelbarrow. I also think the builds for the Easter one are more enjoyable too. :)
DarrellBricker Posted December 24, 2016 No Easter Bunny, alas, but a great set nonetheless ... will have to have that one, too ...
Bricknblue Posted December 25, 2016 Clearly LEGO wanted to make some spring sets and did't have enough holidays to do. I'm going to be making a MOC of a true Valentine's Day picnic in the northern hemisphere.
Chilis Posted December 29, 2016 The easter set looks a bit boring...? Need to have, just to have, but would prefer one larger structure rather than these three small ones.
fastbjorn Posted December 29, 2016 I really like the new seasonals. I'm looking forward to see the next seasonals.

I agree but I think most of us display these for a while or modify them then scrap them for their useful pieces. I'm liking the masonry bricks in tan the Easter set offers and the black wrought-iron fence pieces and Angry Birds eggs.
