[M-G02] MANTIS Scissor Truck

Isaac Redsyn, Massi Editoro, and Little John were sent with the latest MANTIS Special Ops vehicle, the Scissor Tank, to take out an Octan turret on Freegate. Isaac Redsyn was of course the driver, Massi the gunner, and Little John the tech.

The full build:

The tank has a functioning scissor lift, allowing it to shoot over almost any obstacle, fold down down stabilizers and doors, plus a full interior:

I’m quite happy with how this build turned out, though the truck was definitely rather challenging at times.

Love the way you worked in that piece for the windscreen. The curvature on the bodywork suits it perfectly. Great job.

That's a really nice built...

The scissor elevator is great (and works well according to your movie)

good idea for the mudguard and the holds

Thanks, the windscreen is pretty much what started the vehicle, so I'm glad you like it! :classic:

Thank you! The mudguards were a little tricky, but I think they ended up working pretty well.

How did you get the lift to hold when fully extended?

There are two Technic pins that drop down when the lift goes up, which keep it from sliding back down. If you want to bring it back down, you just lift them up. :classic:

The vehicle is great and super smooth. The overall design works really well together.

Love the rockwork and all the scenery too. Everything is really well integrated and it all compliments the rest of the scene. Fantastic as usual, wish we saw more of you around these parts!

That's really nice color blocking on the truck and a lovely feature. Great build.
