CCCXIV-Great Turkish Bombard

My entry for the Colossal Castle Contest 14, in siege warfare category:

For the siege of Constantinople, Ottoman Sultan Mehmed II(later remembered as the Conqueror) commissioned a Hungarian siege engineer to cast him a giant bombard, along with smaller other cannons. These cannons were instrumental in bringing down the Byzantine walls.

Love that first pic with the projectile hurling itself towards the doom of the Byzantines! Excellent siege piece!

That is amazing. It is as if someone snatched these with a time machine, turned them into LEGO and took pictures =)

I love the effect of the shot escaping the barrel of the gun. Very cool!

Wow, this is great! I really love how you used the Prince of Persia pieces. The whole era doesn't get a lot of love.
