The LEGO Batman Movie Set/CMF Rumors & Discussion

Oh, the limo seen in the trailer is a sleek white one with a penguin build on the front.

There's also a clawed villain hanging from it but the picture was too blurry to tell who it is.

I love the new Croc! Btw, anyone else notice that the whole head section is a seperate section, methinks it can rotate up and down, that'd be amazing! I love that he uses recolored Rancor hands and him having a head similar to a classic LEGO crocodile is kinda neat. It also lookslike he has a tail. I know nothing about Zebraman but the figure is cool. Tarantula is okay but makes me a little uneasy given her actions in the comics. The Tail-Gator looks pretty good though. I'm expecting the set to be $40-$50.

You forgot BaneĀ :classic:

I only went for what been seen (or confirmed in case of Calculator) thus far. We all see it happening, but I don't think I've seen actual evidence of Bane appearing yet

Probably one of the Kabuki twins, seeing as how they're the Penguin's bodyguards.

Try $50-$60 on for size. $40 is too optimistic.Ā

I'm guessing somewhere between $50-$60 for Croc. It has less pieces than the $60 Heroes of Justice Sky High Battle, but I don't know if Killer Croc himself will drive up the price or not.

Judging by the boxart, it seems the lowrider, batmobile, and killer croc set happen around the same time . They are all around the water with the city in the distance with the same floor

I'm currently a bit confused what are the sets release dates?

Lowrider, batmobile, batcave, and Mr freeze set release November 27th. All other sets are being released January 1st

I wonder if we'll get some more obscure villains in the Limo set. Since we don't really know how big it is, we might have a few characters in there.

Have you seen the picture of the set whichĀ has surface? The set includesĀ Scarecrow, batman and a security guard. Scarecrow drives a motorbike with a pizza trailer attached. Looks kind of like aĀ rickshaw. There is a small security both for the security guard.Ā

I wil probably get The Joker ballon Escape, Catwoman Chase, Riddler Racer, Clayface splat attack, Joker Lowrider, Batcave Break in, Scarecrow Special Delivery, Penguins Limo (hoping for some of the Iceberg casino as well) and Arkham Asylum. The scuttler, Killer Croc set (mainly the vehicle) and Mr. Freeze attack doesn't interest me.Ā Plan is to get the smaller sets first and then the bigger ones. Expecting Arkham Asylum and Batcave Break-in will be on the shelfs for some time to come.Ā

I saw it, I'm trying to see more detail on scarecrow and I am getting balloon, mr freeze, Catwoman chase, riddler racer, clayface, low ride, scarecrow, batcave, the mystery packs also I have about the same plan

Well I think of made up my mind on the sets. The Catwoman Cycle is definitely a January 1st buy along w/ Arkham and Scuttler (Sorry wallet, no you don't have a say). The Riddler Racer is pretty cool, and I can die happy knowing that we have that question mark pieceĀ :cry_happy:. The new Killer Croc...no. I personally think we're moving backwards here. The 2016 Croc is still my favorite. I'll still get the tail-gator...in November 2017, onlyĀ because there is a good deal on Amazon and I need to complete the collection. Psyched about the Arctic Roller, sounds pretty cool. The Clayface set is okay, but I need Clayface so i'll get it and the design, I don't really have a problem with. The Scarecrow Delivery is a nice set, but I'm not gonna be picking it up.

Arcodring to brickset the Mr. Freeze set, Joker ballon set and Scarecrow Pizza delivery set combines into one piece. Kind of interesting. It is not surprising with the Joker and Mr. Freeze you can see the similarities.Ā

Any idea how much the Riddler set is? With that selection of minifigs, it's a must-have!

The Catwoman set is a must-buy, too! A very nice looking bike, with Robin and Batgirl to boot!

This wave is really shaping up to be incredible, minifig-wise. I'm really glad that we're able to get most characters in cheap sets, like The Lego Movie sets.

Also, we're all probably going to end up owning 10 identical Batmen at this rate!Ā

Honestly these pictures are teaching me about obscure batman villains, I've never heard of any of those villains until now, lol.

I find that a bit hard to believe--not that I wouldn't love it at that price!Ā

More and more I keep seeing the Joker Lowrider as a ripoffĀ and it's only becoming moreĀ apparent with every set being released, in my opinion. How is that thing $50? It could somewhat be justified by the purple colors and excellent figure printing, and it must be a very solid build...but Batgirl is in two other sets (counting Dimensions) and Joker is not entirely new either. Harley is super-printed, but then...if Brickset is correct, you could get a much more satisfying price wise set in the form of Tail-Gator. You'd get two completely new one-off figures, a giant truck, and the most articulated big-figure yet, all for the same price. Ā

I heard they were the same price.. I like Joker's car, yeah it's sturdy but the wheels don't work that well (they bounce back up when you push down) .. other than that the purple is great and the figs are great. I like it!!

Wow, ya the riddler and catwoman sets are still my favorites, even after seeing them. Purple Catwoman, Kite Man, Calender man, cheap Robin and BatgirlĀ :wub:. SO GOOD! Those two are instant buys, along with the Killer Croc set. I'll probably just bricklink the figures from the other sets.Ā

I assume that is a play feature to mimic a hydraulic pump.Ā

Well, at least you got a lot of the yellow bat belts. Could be used on other Batmans.Ā

To be honest that truck doesn't do that much for me. Now I don't know if Croc is in the sewers in the movies. However it just make the Croc set we just got kind of the same vibe. Would have been nicer if one of them had a sewer seen. The vehicles versus building ratio is pretty bad. i would rather have seen a bigger diamond store than yet another motorbikeĀ

Killer Croc looks so adorably doofy; I'll probably get him on ebay or something. Definitely grabbing the Riddle racer (Mmm, Calendar Man). And the Catcycle...it's an easy way to get Robin, so that's a plus.

Haha that looks like fun :laugh:Ā

It is, I just wish it'd stay down when I pushed it down so it was actually riding low like a lowrider !Ā
