LEGO Chevrolet K5 Blazer Silverado V8 1984 by Team Enthusiast.

Team Enthusiast consist of Alexandr, Artem, Nikolay (me).
This iconic SUV originaly was started by Alexandr Zabaluev (body) and Artem Furutin (chassis) as LDD model, you can see it in the album (White model in Flickr).
I joined the team later and have done improvements all over the model and built it to real life.
Ok, enough with prehistory and now let's move to technical information and details:
-All wheel drive.
-XL Motor for propulsion,
-M motor for steering.
-Openable doors and hood.
-IR receiver and AAA battery box.
-Detailed interior and exterior.

Weight - 1218 gram (with batteries).
Some axels are cutted (in frontal rack and steering wheel - 2.5 X 4, 1.5 X 1).
Rigid hoses which join the body and the rear pillars are also cutted (Hose, Rigid 3mm, 2.8cm X 2).
The model is more suitable for a "good" road than off-road, but it can save face:)
Built to stay tough.
In the album, in addition to the model, there is a brochure of 1985 Chevrolet Blazer and GMC Jimmy (Flickr).
There are 3 versions: Stock, Medium Lift, High Lift as LXF files.

If you are planning to build it use medium lift version as the most refined. Enjoy!

It looks really amazing, i like a lot the details and the scale, it has a very clean shape and those rectangular-like shapes are great, very good from an old but great vehicle, nice work.

Thanks! Rectangular shape is the best shape for lego creations:)  I always like this car and also Bronco and Ramcharger. It was a real pleasure to build it.

Some notes: I haven't used blue parts in real model. They just seem not right for me. For LDD version blue parts were used for an easy build.

Although I don't agree with the cutting, this looks like a fantastic model. Very recognizable

Thank you! Sometimes I also repaint parts:)

It really makes me wonder how much "even better" it would look with System build body... Yes I know, I prefer System build bodies...haha...

All ready very cool though!!! Realistic looks...well done!

Very cool model, instantly recognizble. I like how clean all this looks, especially wheel arches. And i like steering setup - looks like real)

Thanks! When you build in LDD you have almost all parts and simply try almost all possibilities till you find the right solution:)

Very very sleek, love it! :thumbup:

Thank You for sharing the LDD file (one remark: groups would help a lot to build it ).

Do You plan to make a video?

Thank you! Agree with you, but I think we managed ok:)
Probably not, I am not so good in making videos.

I love it! Captures the essence of the original vehicle. Do you have a video?

Thanks! I don't have video. I will add to my album on Flickr some additional photos. I'm planning to put third party tires. The model is quite powerful with huge torque but a bit slow:)

Nice color combinations, i like them all, they look fantastic.

Thank you very much! I spent a lot of time doing them:) Unfortunately only a few of them can be recreated in real life.
