Started the Pet Shop

Recommended Posts

And I can't stop grfinning! This is my fourth Lego set and far and away the most complex. I've completed section one - not very Pet Shop-py, more like the first floor of a brownstone - but I still am having a blast!

It's a nice build - enjoy! There are lots of nice interior details in that one that are nice to build but not as noticeable once the set is together (like the bathroom under the stairs), so that's kinda fun. :classic:

Finished!

Okay, I'm hooked. I need the rest of them. (the current ones, I mean. The retired sets are WAY out of my price range!)

It was very fun to build. I really liked all the details, I just wish there were more animals!

Good luck. Have fun. That's the important part. There are always haters out there, but look for the fun and beauty in the series and you'll never be disappointed. (I'm mainly talking about Palace Cinema since it seems to not be a fan favorite). I liked it. I thought it was clever. I don't love how the Marquee hangs since it isn't attached very well. And stickers are never fun. But the rest is pretty decent.

My only problem will be the retired sets. I certainly can't afford to get any of them. I've heard of something called Lepin. Anyone have experience with that?

Don't do that ;)

LEGO quality is not in line with their motto, but Lepin is waaay behind. It would be money lost.
