Our hero, Colonel Brickinson was lost at sea and since we have not ...

Wait!

I can see him!

Just a tiny figure swimming in the wild wild ocean.

800x787.jpg

Brickinson was using his last strength to keep afloat.. Things could have been so easy if that shark had not decided to dive...

800x600.jpg

He had seen an island in the sun distance and he was doubling his efforts to get there.

When he would be there, he would sing in praise of the shining sand.

And while he was struggling he had an idea: why not try backstroke?

800x600.jpg

That turned out to be much easier - and (for the first time) we can see our hero smiling. :pir-sweet:

In a strange vision that came to him, Brickinson saw himself as winner of an international swimming contest:

[second Speaker] Brickinson has almost made it to the island.

[First Speaker] Very good. That gives us new possibilities.

[second Speaker] What do you have in mind?

[First Speaker] You will see, my young padawan, you will see.

[second Speaker] Ok. See I will.

Here is the Simian-Plan storyline:

1 MRCA Result April & May: Sunk and Taken by Pirates

2 Has Brickinson gone mad?

3 The End of a Pirate

4 Visiting a Pirate Island

5 A Dream Within A Dream

6 Pirate Hunter King Archibald

7 Woe is me!

8 The Black Moustache and his Green Flying Dutchman

9 ... but I have signed the contract ....

10 Now, what have we got here ...

11 The Great Escape

12 Please don't dive ....

13 The Brickinson Case

14 Island in the Sun

So that has resolved one cliffhanger :pir-grin:

(at least to some part)

Stay tuned - C&C welcome!

Now I`m stuck with that song in my head pirate_laugh_new.gifpirate_laugh_new.gifpirate_laugh_new.gif

pirate_laugh_new.gif Well that is all part of that S-Plan ... things that find their way into your head! pirate_wink.gif

(But of course I have that song in my head all the time too!)

Great ocean, with the fish and gull. And glad to see Brickinson will make it to land. When the BoBS Olympics come around, Eslandola needs to enter him in the swimming events. pirate_laugh2.gif

Not only in swimming, but also in escaping prisons and blowing up pirates!

Great story !

I hadn't the time to congratulate you on this amazing story !

It's great to see and read this funny story !

Great job !

And sure Col Brickinson is a swimming champion, but you could inscribe him in shark taming contest too... Well, I am not sure it's olympic official discipline... ;p

Great to see Brickinson survive. The way you disassembled his minifig to show the swimming pose works out really well, great job.

What is once more amazing is to see you go the extra mile of adding a swimming competition winner's ceremony just for the fun of it. Gave me a smile, thank you!

This is getting better and better - following Brickinson's story is enjoyed best while sipping on a banana cocktail.

Prost!

Just keep them builds coming! default_moar.gif

Aha... so our Intrepid Explorer Extraordinaire wasn't lost at sea after all... *whew*

Good work with the ocean and micro island. It's very convincing. Perhaps his swimming vision was actually a flashback to his younger years... Did he set any records during his latest swim? Perhaps he topped the charts in the 100-stud backstroke?

Keep it up.

I'll try.  But I probably will not post the next part of the story until the website upgrade has settled and all of this has become readable again.
