LeTourneau L-2350 wheel loader

Until the Maz 535 is finished, I'll present some of my MOCs, which are a bit older, but weren't publicized yet.

I start with the LeTourneau L-2350 wheel loader, the largest in the world. I made a scale model, with PF IR remote. All functions are motorized:

- Drive

- Steering

- Bucket lifting

- Bucket tilting

Except drive, everything works via strings and reels. This way it could be built in this scale, there is really a limited space inside, autovalves or servo operated penumatic valves with compressor aren't possible.

It looks really cool, at first moment i went directly to the pictures and the video and i was like "Wait, how the pneumatic cylinders work without the hoses", then i saw the strings system, and i must say it is very impressive, so many functions, which work smoothly and with enough force to lift heavy objects, i think this is a very cool model, nice work.

I always like to see wheel loaders, great number of functions in a small place. In my opinion if put all functions you want makes so unrealistic the MOC I prefer increase the scale looking for more room, if you wanted to build the smallest wheel loader awesome work.

@Jorgeopesi: yes, my goal was to make it relatively small, with 81,6 mm wheels. But among my plans, there is a 94,3 mm wheel variant, with realistic mechanisms.
