For this MOC, the difficulty was to insert the electric components but to have a light and good design. The choice of a buggy was chose because the design is quite light, and it is more simple to have a good performance.

I have made custom stickers to have a better look.

I have made a first buggy 3 years ago. As you can see, the new is more beautiful (and much more performant).

Steering is done by a servomotor.

Driving is done by 2 L motors. It is better performant than just 1 XL, because 2 L have a better acceleration and more power. And they were easier to place Inside the chasis.

The suspension is very efficiency. It is smooth and reactive.

At front, there is independent susension. At rear, there is a suspended axle.

The chasis is very, very light. The basis is done around just 4 beams.

The complete buggy (train's battery box included) weights 495 grams.

Very cool and compact build!

Really liked how you timed the engine sounds with the camera angels. Did you use a standard full-size GoPro or a smaller Session? I imagine the weight must have affected such a compact car quite a bit.

Thank you !

I have a GoPro Hero 3+ (Black edition). The camera has affected the performance a little, but it was not a great problem because I put little wheels on the fixatons of the GoPro (made in Lego). The steering was affected, but the buggy was controllable.

I saw this before, and really like it.

Like the essence of buggies: for bigger scale just add water (ABS).

Great buggy and performance but I think the rear wheels are about 2 studs to wide.

Thanks !

JJ2 : I know for the rear axle, it is voluntary. We can find the same thing on real buggies.
