Is there rumor of a Shocker minifig?

No, but it's pretty safe to say we'll get one. If there's a villain with a legitimate costume, they're probably going to stick him into a set, especially with so few "super" characters in the movie (really just Spider-Man, Vulture, Shocker, and an Iron Man cameo).

It depends on Shockers role in a movie. More than likely he'll be first supervillian Spidey beats up in the beginning of the movie, and who we won't see for the rest of Homecoming. So minifigure is highly unlikely in this case. If we get more than 1 movie based set, than Shocker is more possible to appear. But more likely we'll just get 1 set, so only Vulture and Spidey are a given, and maybe Tony Stark without his armor. Edited by benderisgreat

That's not sound logic. War Machine got no figure for Age of Ultron, Falcon didn't get one for either Age of Ultron or Ant-Man, Wasp (both versions) didn't appear in the Ant-Man set. Looking over to DC, there was no Doomsday figure (nor any Aquaman, Flash, or Cyborg) in the Batman v Superman sets. Having a costumed character doesn't guarantee a figure.

War Machine and Falcon were in a movie alongside 9 other actual superheroes, Ant-Man got only one set (and was clearly dealing with a different sort of script, with that Hank Pym figure). BvS's sets were hiding a lot of stuff like that from spoilers, and you can't exactly make a set out of a confused Bruce Wayne sitting at his desk while the Flash yells at him.

Homecoming has 3 people in it with actual costumes (that we know of), that being Spidey, Vulture, and Shocker. Even if they somehow only make one set for this movie (which I still find a ridiculous concept; Guardians is getting 3, but this is Spider-Man we're dealing with) that's enough to fill the fig count. It looks like he's gonna function a lot like Crossbones in Civil War, and he managed to get a set. Supervillain variety is golden when there's absolutely no superhero variety.

Took the words right out of my mouth! Crossbones has barely 10 minutes of screentime as the first villain to be apprehended in Civil War and he even got his own jeep/humvee ;)

Thing is Civil War had a much larger wave due to all the superheroes it featured whereas if there is only one spiderman set and this Shocker guy barely appears its unlikely he'll feature in a set with Spidey and Vulture. However there's going to be three films coming out next year, so maybe its possible there's going to be a larger summer wave with more movie-based sets for Spiderman: Homecoming and (please TLG!) Thor Ragnarok.

Here's hoping for good GOTG sets though!

Yes, so Tony Stark in civilian clothes can still happen!

Technically we already have Tony in civvies, right? His minifigure in the Malibu Mansion set.

Sure, it's not a nice suit or anything, but it's not his IM armor either and it shows his arc reactor :sweet:

Regards,

Mitch

Just noticed this and can't unsee it. What's going on in the middle of the Black Panther brickheads' belly? Is that a pronounced outie? Why does it look like that? Dr. Strange has a belt, and Iron Man has armor texture, so the protruding bits in the front make sense, but Captain America has a very flat belly. What's the deal with Black Panther's tummy?

That's probably going to be my weirdest post for a while.

We did, but that clothes are outdated now, since Tony doesn't have arc reactor on his chest anymore. Plus version of Tony in business suit would be a welcome addition. Edited by benderisgreat

That seems like kind of a waste of a character slot, though? The last Tony minifig was worthwhile for the arc reactor torso printing, but if you want Tony in a suit, that seems like the easiest purist figure to make?

It's a pouch to carry around a tiny baby Black Panther. It's the same principal as a kangaroo.

The last Tony minifigure was accurate at the time, but not now it's not. Yes it's kinda easy to make this version yourself, but nothing beats official version. And besides Tony is a popular character and will appear in Homecoming, I can't see why Lego won't make his minifigure in the set based on the movie.

It's actor builder, he always is pulling jokes ;)

I thought it was funny too! It also points out how weird it looks!
