Mercedes G-class is a off-road car build for a army converted to civil car.
If a standart G-class is really good in off-road, insomuch the AMG versions are good to park next to expensive club, beacouse nobody imagines a car with 20'' wheels on low profile tires in the off-road.

Ok, now about my model.
Overall I am satisfied of my structure, but I think that the front hood is 1 stud too long and spare wheel doesn't look preety.
They are also features of AMG version like a side exhausts, bigger airflow in front bumper and "bigger" wheels.

Model has full suspension (live axles), one yellow spring per wheel in front and yellow and gray springs in rear.

Vehicle also has openable side and rear door. Under the openable hood is located a fake V8 engine.

I tried to reproduce a interior and I installed a movable steering wheel.

Model has a front LED lights and homemade stickers with Mercedes logo on front grill, spare wheel and engine.

Model is propeled by 1 XL motor whereby model driving quite smoothly.

I look forward to your opinions :D

Looks great although I am not a fan of the rear wheel holder.

This is a vehicle I rarely see made out of Lego. It really looks great!

That single grey connector on the hood is one thing I would change.

Front grill is well propositioned. Keep it up! :classic: :classic:

Very nice! On my way to school I always see a beast of an AMG, this one looks like a very good copy. But one thing, remove or remodel the spare wheel holder.

Very good Moc, but I agree with JJ2.

Sometimes less is more. ;)

Just drop the spare wheel "cover", and You are ready.

Fantastic build. And in the real Life too drive with this monster is absolutely unforgetable. It was only 15 minutes, but it was cloud number 9.

The spare wheel cower is IMO must hawe. An your design is wery god, only to big a litle bit. Trow away the tire, use only Rim and cower it. This is my opinion.

But anyway great job.

If you ever had the ambition of creating a Lepin set, it seems like this is your chance! ;)

Excellent model by the way, have you every considered building the 6x6 version?

Although my remarks were prompted just as much by the fact the only two posts from his account were demands for the building instructions, I should have thought twice before posting.

Are there any plans to have an assembly instruction/parts list? I am super interested and I'd bet many people are as well!

Very nice model!

Eurobricks is not the place to make a post just to ask for building instructions. We have Facebook for that. Do that on Facebook or some other site. Please refrain from doing that here. If there are BI's, the builder will mention it.

I probably should have phrased it differently

"We have Facebook for that."

should be:

"You can do that on Facebook or other sites."

We don't have a BI group or something

My favorite off-roader, it looks great in black, those rims are perfect for this model, just to use this part in black and beige interior or brown would be nicer IMHO. Very nice model

Hey! Sorry for bumping an old topic, as there are no instructions, sometimes I have thinkings to build this body from photos and put on Porsche wheels.. What are the parts used in the front grill and side mirrors? Thanks
