Shiver My Timbers - Muppets Treasure Island

Recommended Posts

Hi all,

I present my work from the past few months!

The opening scene of "Muppets Treasure Island", with it's epic version of "Shiver My Timbers".

Enjoy! C&C welcome!

Thanks Spock! I forget about that S every time!

The video took me a few weeks but I started it last year before getting distracted with another project. Its involved a lot of tinkering with the lip syncing so that was the bulk of the work!

It's been a nice project to work on though as it was one of my favourites when I was a kid and I really like the idea of the animals telling the story of the treasure being buried. The final line rounds it off nicely!

Glad you enjoyed it :)

Thanks guys! A muppets related website is going to feature it so hopefully it will raise the LEGO pirate profile slightly!

One of my favourite films for years and years. Amazing recreation.

Although, some of the editing on the animals was a little uncanny valley-esque for my taste. The octopus's eyes in particular looked sort of... murder-y.

But other than that, it was amazingly faithful and really well-crafted.
