I think if it weren't coming in the next year, the rep would have taken the opportunity to say something very different, to lower expectations and throw some cold water on the rumors. I really don't think this makes it any more credible. You could ask the question "Do you think they will ever make X as a theme/set" about anything and get the response "it is possible".
