Account Summary

This topic is to discuss perceived errors in your account. If you'd like to discuss your account in private, you may submit an entry with the Adjudication Form. Providing links related to builds being discussed really speeds up verification of your request.

Each citizen, settlement, trade company, and faction have their own account. These sheets are live. If you submit a form, your account will be updated right away.

If you would like a reminder as to what you've submitted in the past, feel free to use the following forms. Remember, spelling is important.

Additional Notes:

  • Some sheets require some manual entry for the entry to be calculated correctly.
  • Mines require manual entry for the application of the prospecting or license fee until the Property Form is updated.
  • Monopolies are not automatically applied when a form is submitted. Monopoly modifiers are entered manually until the Property Form is updated.
  • Ship licenses are nearly always a manual entry, unless you are paying a standard price for your vessel.

A special thanks to Captain Genaro and Dr. Spock for helping me set up the Google Sheets and Forms.

Elostirion, line 52

January: It states 40, I say it's 44.

February: It states 185, I say it's 193 (=149+44).

Also see our private conversation from May 3rd/4th.

March

* Property licenses: Expense 50, Yield 18 => should result in -32, results in -33 in the sheet? Rounding?

* sheet states that I paid 225 DBs as ship licenses. I didn't. I bought one ship via auction, and paid the according 33 DBs via transaction form. I did not buy a real license. Maybe I misfilled the form.

April: no complaints

May: no complaints

Except for the 225 DBs for the ship that's only minor stuff. Thanks a lot for doing this, helps a lot!

Had the same issue. I think it was because the old form didn't have the auction option.

Adjucation form submitted.

Same here with a ship bought in auction! I think we need a tickbox in the ship license form as in

()ship not licensed

()ship not licensed, bought from another player

()ship licensed, captured

()ship licensed, bought from another player/faction/NPC

()ship licensed, should be unlicensed

I think that should be all cases that matter. Would make licensing ships won in an auction and or captured a little less of a hassle for us and makes it easier to keep an overview for you I think;)

The value I'm talking about should be in Y58 in April btw;)

Great job anyways, the small differences are just minor inconveniences ;)

Which column is supposed to be our current balance? According to my own spreadsheet I'm supposed to have a balance of 7 dubloons, pending the MCRA resolution. Shall I type it up and send it to you for evaluation? The one error I may have made is in income. If I liscence a property in say, February, do I see income from it in March or in April? I figured not until April so I may have shorted myself.

I think the best way is to check your own monthly and point out exactly which cell data is incorrect.

Also, it seems like property income comes after 30 days, so if you licence in Feb, you won't see it until end Mar.

Thanks, looks like I did income correctly then. I'll have to set down this weekend and comb through the sheets to figure it out.

January- MRCA income is not correct, should be 247

February- is correct

March- is correct

April- 100db for Sulky upgrade needs to be switched out of transactions, MRCA not added yet so can't check final total

May- correct so far

I spent 5 dbs on a small residence in April. I checked and the license did get purchased. Thus, I should have an ending balance of 16 (without the MRCA which just posted). Otherwise it looks great to me. I like this form as it makes it easy to check each category.

Two errors in the Capt Wolf account, in reverse order:

The ship I licensed in April was a free license (I had lost my ships in the March MRCA), so I shouldn't be charged the 150 there.

The large plantation (with monopoly bonus) I licensed in March was an expansion of an earlier medium plantation, not a new property. The license cost should only be the difference (100-75=25), so my total property license expenses for March should be 50, not 125. Furthermore, all subsequent property yield numbers are 23 doubloons too high, as they give me credit for both a medium plantation (w monopoly bonus) and a large plantation (w monopoly bonus) when I only have the large plantation.

Link to the original medium plantation.

Link the upgraded large plantation.

Think that seems right to me. All is in goo order. Its 35 dbs form entering and putting it as a FB. now I need to wait for the dbs to arrive from the MRCA and pay the escort taxes off. I dont like paying, but if I want to make such good profits in the next MRCA the coming, well, its a must! Like it or not... :hmpf:

It looks like the MCRA freebuilds are being entered at 5DBs instead of 10DBs. Are the forms registering the MCRAs as a 3rd freebuild instead of the MCRA?

No, MRCA builds should be 10 DB. Let me know if there is an error. :classic:

so, I don't want to be whiny, but in my own calculations I end on (after May's MRCA) 191DBs...

I have not yet checked the other niets to see what could have gone wrong, but I'll try to do that ASAP

Just to follow up on this, I checked the logs and somehow I must not have marked it as an MCRA build so it was logged as a 3rd freebuild. I sent the adjudication form yesterday. Just wanted you to know the automation still seems to be working.

Your ship license has been adjusted to 0 DB with the free license.

The ship form will be updated to remove all the manual entry ...eventually.

Seems Charlatan Bay didn't get entered as a settlement.

It is now.

Also, I took care of your Adjudication for your factory.

Excellent job doing this Phred !

I have noticed that in my sheet that I paid the license of the ships, but I hadn't to pay for them because there were all free licenses ! I lost both the Appleseed and the Raenette that were free licensed ships.

I used my free license in February on the Raenette when I lost the Appleseed in the January MRCA.

And I sistershipped a Raenette II on my free license in April when I lost the Raenette in Bloody Billy's attack in the March MRCA ! (I especially talked to KaiNRG about that and that leaded to the rule that is excluing the class0 ships in the ship count in order to have a free license)

So I hadn't to pay 100 in ship license in February, and the same happened in April, I hadn't to pay 100 in the license for the ship.

So my May total is wrong because of that; I should have 200 more in the total : I should have 216 in total in May.

But the rest is right; you even already counted the Commerce bonus ! Good job !

Correct, yields and upkeep are applied the following month the license has been paid.

Is this post a replacement for the old monthly "scorecard," or is the scorecard still going to be posted as well?

January- MRCA income is not correct, should be 247

February- is correct

March- is correct

April- 100db for Sulky upgrade needs to be switched out of transactions, MRCA not added yet so can't check final total

May- correct so far

In January, Black Marlin made 136 DB, and the Sulky Harlequin made 96 DB. The total for MRCA was 232. Your account total according to Ska's calculations was 247 DB.

April MRCA has been added to the Summary. Do Sulky upgrades need to remain out of the transactions?

The license expense is now being shown.

I am not sure yet. You could say this summary is the current scorecard.

Yes, I figured out the discrepancy was elsewhere. As far as the 100DBs for the Sulky upgrade, shouldn't that be placed in ship license instead of transactions?

Yes, it should. Corrington only gets half of license fees, not the whole thing. I've already moved your Transaction to the Ship License forms. you should be good to go.

Hi Phred, thanks for all your hard work preparing this amazing summary.

I don't really understand how the settlements work but I think Port Raleigh should have at least some value as it has a few good buildings. Ska has calculated its setlement value as 8, whatever that means. Please check and amend the summary sheet when you get time. Thanks!
