This is my version of the TX-130T Fighter tank that was introduced in and made popular by Star Wars Battlefront. I've always liked the look of this thing and noticed that there aren't that many Lego custom ones around so I decided to rectify that.

Overal I am very pleased with how it came out, the only downside is that it isn't the most stable built in the world but since I don't plan on playing with it that actually doesn't bother me.

Lets take a closer look shall we:

As you can see the hatch can actually open and there is enough space to fit a minifigure in the gunner position.

Here you can see that there is a small platform inside the tank on which a minifigure can stand.

Here you can see that the canons can actually move up and down.

One final shot of the tank.

Really hope that you guys like it as much as I do :classic:

You did a good job on this tank! I always hoped Lego would make a set of it someday.

There is a Republic version from 2008, but it feels like it was gone just as fast as it came.

Great MOC!

Yeah I didn't get that version but I wish I did.

I have the Republic Attack Tank and personally I don't think it holds a candle to your MOC. Excellent job! The proportions are great! I love it! :classic:

Love the two tones of imperial grey, I'm building an imperial ship at the moment and was thinking of using a minimal highlighting colour but not sure now after seeing how effective and clean it looks on your model

They did, but it was the Clone Wars variant back in 2007 oor 2008

I know but I was specifically talking about a Imperial Version.

This looks really good! Is the imperial insignia an official one or a custom?

In my opinion it's a bit too small, but it has a lot of great detail. I like the screwdriver for the turret.

Beasty looking tank! The bleys look great together here, and I like that you included space for a fig

Thanks, I think it's just the picture that makes it look somewhat small then again the real thing was pretty small aswell. The Imperial insignias are stickers from the set 7667 Imperial Dropship,

Since so many guys brought up the Republic version I made a render showing my TX-130 but then with Republic colors (also added a minifigure to give a sense of the size of the thing). Obviously if I were to make it in real life (I made sure that all pieces are available in their respective colors) I would add several more details like the republic logo etc. but this should convey the idea well enough.

It looks really nice in both colors. Still, I think the imperial one is so much cleaner and menacing looking. Great job!

It looks fantastic!

Though are you looking into any solutions for a design that features open view ports?

Thank you very much! I don't really have any alternate ideas for the view ports right now but I'm always open to suggestions so if you do have one don't hesitate to let me know :classic:

Nice little tank! The maroon and lime look good on it... very well built and far better than the set!

I would argue Lego's version is way, way too big. Yours is perfectly sized! I believe the Imperial version was in Empire at War as well (could be wrong, wouldn't be the first time. )

Incredible. The proportions are spot-on. The tasteful use of the FO Snowspeeder stickers really adds nice detail to the model.

Thank you very much! The tank that appears in Empire At War is actually called the 2-M Saber Class Repulsor-Tank (quite a mouthful I know  ) and that tank can be considered the successor of this tank so they are indeed very similar.

Thanks, I was looking for a way to add some more detail to the tank and then remembered that I still had those stickers lying around so I thought why not. Glad to hear that they work so well :classic:

Yeah, I still have that unused sticker sheet lying around somewhere. Gotta find a suitable Imperial MOC to use 'em on....
