Karalora Posted November 29, 2019 Hang on...that's all three of Scrooge's Christmas ghosts in the upper right, isn't it? Someone already called out Yet To Come (the uppermost black shape), but I see a red beard and green crown on one side of him, and white clothing and blond hair on the other (Christmas Past is usually depicted thus even though the description in the story is clearly based on a candle). The latter is what I thought might be an angel, so I'm changing my mind on that one. And I think that might be Scrooge himself tucked in between the three of them--that pale-ish figure could be wearing a Victorian nightgown and cap.
Digger of Bricks Posted November 29, 2019 Got a notification for this topic this morning and didn't recognize it due to the title change, momentarily thinking it was another CMF Idea topic I wasn't yet aware of!
Robert8 Posted December 1, 2019 (edited) 'Tis the season to be jolly! Hello and welcome to a very different CMF series: the Advent Calendar This time around I wanted to make very special "series" for a very special season: Christmas. The offering will be a little different than usual: we'll see 1 minifigure per day from now until December 24th: all regular CMFs but all Holiday themed. The group pic, leaflet, bag and new pieces will posted after the last minfigure. Hope you'll be checking around even if you don't celebrate Christmas. NOTE. I'm playing to be The LEGO Group here, so I'm taking the new pieces from Series A to Q as already introduced pieces. Spoiler It's that time of the year again and the minifigures are here to celebrate the holiday spirit! Join the countdown to the merriest day of the year with 24 Minifigure from Holiday Stories, Fantasy Chracters and Holiday celebrations from around the world. Each character includes one or more accesories, plus a white display plate and a collector's leaflet. This colllection includes... 1. Confectioner Part assortment (8 pieces): Chef hat+hair combo. Microfigure recolored as the Series 11 Gingerbread Man. Microfigure recolored as the Series E Gingerbread Woman. Gingerbread House (2x2 Brick+ 2x2 Double Slope, both with special printing). Regular head, legs and torso. Cloth skirt. Edited December 1, 2019 by Robert8
Digger of Bricks Posted December 1, 2019 Oooooh, we're already on a good start here! A holiday baker is a most excellent idea, and the inclusion of the gingerbread microfigures and house are sweet indeed!

Digger of Bricks Posted December 2, 2019 I feel like this guy's choice of drink should be a Coke rather than cocoa.
Karalora Posted December 2, 2019 Called it! I love the shape of the new bear mask--he's clearly dressed as an actual bear, not a teddy bear. Love the design of the mug too!

Digger of Bricks Posted December 3, 2019 By the way @Robert8, I know I ask about this roughly every other Series, but will you be publishing the public Flickr images of these soon? Maybe instead after the completion of this Advent Calendar?

Aurore Posted December 3, 2019 Wow...The first two were already great, but I think Father Frost is even greater. He really has a kind, caring expression, and the design of his outfit and hat are awesome.
Yooha Posted December 3, 2019 None of them are a Xmas figure you would think of instantly, we will see if you will keep up that. I don't know if you want to keep up that thought. ;)

Karalora Posted December 3, 2019 Very cool! I wouldn't have thought of Father Frost either (and I have heard of him).
