Ideas for CMFs

Recommended Posts

Hang on...that's all three of Scrooge's Christmas ghosts in the upper right, isn't it? Someone already called out Yet To Come (the uppermost black shape), but I see a red beard and green crown on one side of him, and white clothing and blond hair on the other (Christmas Past is usually depicted thus even though the description in the story is clearly based on a candle). The latter is what I thought might be an angel, so I'm changing my mind on that one.

And I think that might be Scrooge himself tucked in between the three of them--that pale-ish figure could be wearing a Victorian nightgown and cap.

Got a notification for this topic this morning and didn't recognize it due to the title change, momentarily thinking it was another CMF Idea topic I wasn't yet aware of!

'Tis the season to be jolly!

Hello and welcome to a very different CMF series: the Advent Calendar :classic:

This time around I wanted to make very special "series" for a very special season: Christmas. The offering will be a little different than usual: we'll see 1 minifigure per day from now until December 24th: all regular CMFs but all Holiday themed. The group pic, leaflet, bag and new pieces will posted after the last minfigure.

Hope you'll be checking around even if you don't celebrate Christmas.

NOTE. I'm playing to be The LEGO Group here, so I'm taking the new pieces from Series A to Q as already introduced pieces.

Spoiler

Oooooh, we're already on a good start here! :moar:

A holiday baker is a most excellent idea, and the inclusion of the gingerbread microfigures and house are sweet indeed!

Great minifigure so far! I love it! Those microfigures are a great touch, and there’s a lot of detail.

Called it! I love the shape of the new bear mask--he's clearly dressed as an actual bear, not a teddy bear. Love the design of the mug too!

By the way @Robert8, I know I ask about this roughly every other Series, but will you be publishing the public Flickr images of these soon? Maybe instead after the completion of this Advent Calendar? :shrug_oh_well:

Wow...The first two were already great, but I think Father Frost is even greater. He really has a kind, caring expression, and the design of his outfit and hat are awesome.

None of them are a Xmas figure you would think of instantly, we will see if you will keep up that. I don't know if you want to keep up that thought. ;)

I myself had actually never heard of Father Frost up until now, so as a choice he was quite a surprise for me...  :shrug_oh_well:

Say, I've just noticed that you have this one mystery Series slated between Series S and Series T... :oh: ...have you previously mentioned this before and I simply forgot?
