Ideas for CMFs

Recommended Posts

Thanks for this advent calendar and all the minifigs you designed so far. I wish those ideas would be used by TLG.

Looking forward the series to come.

For the record, I have to say that TLG needs to make more angels than demons. Seriously.

The company has created more minifigures with horns and tails than halo and/or wings.

That's probably because horned, tailed figures are easier to pass off as simple monsters, i.e. nothing to do with religion, while a humanlike figure with feathered wings automatically makes most people think of angels. Personally I think TLG is a little too gun-shy regarding religious imagery. Angels and demons, as a concept, are thoroughly assimilated into general pop culture and fantasy, and as such depicting them is not necessarily a religious statement at all. But then again, you never know how many worms are in the can until you open it.

Congrats on another great milestone @Robert8, and on finding a possible loophole to the general prohibition on religious characters! Not to mention the sheer loveliness of this design!

Wow, this minifigure is very well made! The pale gold color (not sure the name) works great.

Congrats on 400 minifigures!! Your work is so consistently amazing.

Stunning series. Well done! I especially love the generosity of accessories and animals.

Stand out figures for me would be : snowflake costume, evil snowman, ice sculpture & Grinch.

Santa in workshop attire looks so cool! TLG should include that figure in Winter Village in first place. Reindeer mold is an excellent touch!

Thank you for a jolly advent calendar series 2!

Merry Christmas, everyone!

If it's really a calf than it shouldn't have antlers either.

Which makes me suspect that it's not a reindeer calf, but a tiny reindeer. Taken verbatim from the poem.

Thank you so much for this @Robert8 ! Merry Christmas everyone!

Merry Christmas @Robert8!!! I always look forward to seeing these ideas and art pop up here every day. Thank you for bringing so much joy to us during this time! :sweet:

My favorites are the Evil Snowman, Tree Topper, Baker, and the Nutcracker collection. Your work is always so amazing, that I would force myself to find a reason to buy all of them however!

I had planned to reuse the fawn from Series R but without the antlers looked kind of stupid haha like a fawn with a clown nose. It really needed the antlers to complete the Rudolph look.

Lets just say its some north pole magic....

I am grateful for your hard work, your creativity and your obvious passion, it is truly a pleasure to tune in and see what surprises you have in store for us. I look forward to seeing what you have in store for us in the future.

Merry Christmas one and all!

Unlike most deer species the reindeer calf get antlers the first year (both males and females have it as well) however it is usually only two long spikes

Thank you! I understand you are not interested in designing minifigures that relates to Disney, Marvel/DC, etc. So - here are my suggestions for your future regular series!

1.) Pteranodon Suit Girl (torso with wings, new headgear mold)

2.) Egyptologist (with pearl gold coffin, magnifying glass)

3.) Cave Boy or Girl

4.) Saber-toothed Cat Suit Girl

5.) Manga Fan (with printed tile that resemble manga)

6.) Zombie Knigh

7.) Zombie Viking/Draugr (it’s found in Norse mythology)

8.) Museum Security Guard (with tired-looking face, flashlight, Greek-styled vase)

9.) Two-Headed Mutant (you can call me crazy lol)

10.) Triceratops Suit Guy with new headgear mold and removable horns, similar to Dragon Suit Guy’s mask)

11.) Prison Warden

12.) Flamingo Suit Girl

13.) Male Ballet Dancer

14.) French Countess (with a big wig, teacup, maybe umbrella)

15.) Diner Chef (with spatula, hamburger)

16.) Male Paleontologist (with amber or new fossil piece)

17.) Shepherdess (with white sheep, staff)

18.) Karaoke Singer

19.) Sad Clown  Girl

20.) Ramen/Noodle Vendor

21.) Blind Man (with a guide dog)

22.) Deaf Girl (with new hairpiece+Hearing aid mold)

Ok, I think that’s all I have! I hope you willl  find some of my suggestions interesting! :)

Sure. Thanks. Right of the bat, I can tell you one of those is in Series T. And another one is in Series U.

I'm currently working on Series W. I'll take your suggestions in consideration.
