With the 30th Anniversary of Space Shuttle Challenger's explosion this year, I've decided to put various sizes of the official Space Shuttle models in a row!

From the left to right as follows:

1682 Space Shuttle (Small)

6339 Shuttle Launch Pad (Small)

60080 Spaceport (Medium)

10231 Shuttle Expedition/10213 Shuttle Adventure (Large)

7470 Space Shuttle Discovery (Large)

8480 FOS Light Space Shuttle (Extra Large)

Which size do you prefer the most?

I'd prefer 60080. Big enough for details like wing flaps but small enough to play with.

Yikes. I'd much rather think of it as the 35th anniversary of the initial shuttle flight (which is much closer to when you've posted, anyway - Columbia's maiden voyage was April 12 to 14, while the Challenger disaster was back in January).

Nice comparison, though. I wish I had all those sets. I particularly wanted to get Expedition / Adventure, but never did.

Nice comparison BrickWild!

My favorite is still Discovery 7470. I added some tiles to it to give it a smoother look.

10213 is my favorite of the bunch I've seen it a friends house; but the one I own is 7470; which unfortunately is in pieces right now... The stickers on 7470 left behind a gunky residue to so I won't be able to rebuild it that easily.

There is one shuttle you forgot though (I own it): 6456!
