The Sulky gets an upgrade...

The log of Captain Aiden Coyle. 12th April 616:

I had not at all been content with the trade profit the Sulky Harlequin had brought in the last few months as even the smaller Black Marlin brought in greater profits. I finally ordered Captain John Quin to bring the ship in to the Dee Shipyards for an upgrade. When the Sulky sailed into Arlinsport harbour today, I was quite pleased with my investment. The Dee family's reputation of masterful work is well founded.

Excellent upgrade, Mike, it really does look better like this, and now (in my humble opinion anyhow! pirate_tong.gif) fits the new licence quite well! Great photography and very nice edit as well, and I have now come to realize how difficult that is with a large ship! pirate_laugh2.gifpir_laugh2.gif

Nice work "Captain Dee". She does look much more desirable to the local pirate community. pirate_classic.gif

Ohhhh... that first pic at sea is beautiful :pir-wub: Good job with the editing, and of course the upgrades as nice as well. But I still like her original carrack form too.

Sir Dee was away on other business and unfortunately didn't see her while being reworked... but the men who refitted her reported that she was very well-built and a joy to work on (and impossible to miss with her black widow paint scheme).

Actually I'm flattered that you even mentioned the shipyard. Gracias :classic:

Now she's all set for some prosperous trade runs!

Really nice ship, I especially liked the first picture. Great to see you haven't skimped on masts and sail; I think some ships on here lack sufficient motive power. I love that overhaning stern as well. Lovely colour scheme too, Corrington colours. Another fine addition to the Corrington fleet!

Indeed a lovely upgrade (although the original was impressive in it's own right!). Certainly a fitting flag ship for your shipping enterprises!

I concur with the others - this is an exceptional example of an upgrade, and I have little doubt the Courts will accept your request!

Transforming her to a more modern, fully decked hull worked out surprisingly well - really nice job, Mike!
