kabel Posted April 12, 2016 This is really a great Baroque castle and there are many elements I like! However, I'll move this to the Pirates forum as it fits the timeframe better over there!
iammac Posted April 12, 2016 Fine palace old chap. After all, if it ain't Baroque don't fix it! I like the chandelier design, but I might be missing the point on the aluminum foil in the background. Maybe a look at source material would clear up any doubts...what are you imitating here? Absolutely in LOVE with that canopy bed! Great job!
Cousarmy0001 Posted April 12, 2016 This is a very interesting piece. It's not overly complicated or intricate in its structural details, which makes me suspect that it's actually solidly built, and wouldn't come tumbling down if you looked at it funny. It makes up for the lack of structural details, though, through a lot of clever accents. The statues above the entrance are incredible, as is the bedroom and the hallway. Very well done, indeed! BrickCurve Posted April 12, 2016 Good job, I particularly like the interior, it is very well furnished. I feel like the division between the grey and the tan is a bit sudden. It might look better as two seperate models side by side instead.
Staslegomaster Posted April 13, 2016 Pirates would be glad to rob the Palace be it in the Caribbien region,,, but France is too far from them...
Captain Braunsfeld Posted April 19, 2016 Great - the roof bit above the entrance is excellent!
