The background looks quite nice as well, overall this is definitely an improval over last time! I particularly like the use of trans-clear plates for the Stubborn Stern's wake. It really adds to the appearance that it's sailing significantly faster than the pirate. Those must have been BrickForge glasses if I am not mistaken (I bought them some time back). Not necessarily odd when you consider what these sea guys are doing with their sails. I think it works out perfectly fine that the pirate is sailing against the wind and loses speed - the Stubborn Stern makes efficient use of the wind coming from portside. Those winds are tricky!
