Barak Azril

Recommended Posts

One of Dwarf gates of North mines, called Barak Azril. The Dwarf Runepriest in front of it.

Its a simple version of dwarf-head-style gates. In future I hope to build more realistic, closer to original and bigger gates.

Excellent gate, Dwalin, love the subtle changes in the rock wall, and the golden accents forming the helmet are very well done too! My only nitpick would be the ground - a bit smoother mixing of the colors, and possibly a few less, would improve the landscaping :classic: Awesome introductory build overall though, glad to have you in Mitgardia!

Oh, I know about the ground, but all dark tan I used in Windmill, so this is all I have at the moment

That's a very impressive great Dwalin! Really majestic... I can't wait to see the next gate. Well done!

That's super awesome. Finally someone does this kind of dwarven style. Can't wait to see more of your dwarvish architecture in the future, this is really a new and great addition to Historica. I hope you don't see an arch enemy in my rats.

Lovely build, I really like the darf-helmett in stone!

Altough in my eyes, sand green and datk green go better with dark tan, you did an amazing job

Fantastic build, Dwalin! The gold accents go very well with the dark bley and the angled wall sections are excellent as well

The dark bley walls with gold accents look amazing, and very dwarvish  Great use of the limited parts selection in gold to make a sweet helmet design too!

I'm looking forward to seeing more builds featuring your character :classic:

I'm glad to hear such words especialy from you

Though your MOCs are awesome and you are from Nocturnus (and my Dwarves need to march a lot to reach your lands), Dwarves never forget

Wonderful architecture! Like Jacob said, it's a refreshing style we haven't seen much of here. The gold accents are great too, especially how you shaped the helmet into the wall.

Brick on Dwalin!

Great design overall and especially with the golden parts :classic:

Not as fond of the sand green on the ground, for some resson it looks to bright. The dark green/olive green/reddish brown parts look great however!

In real sand green looks better. Its like a moss on the stones. Pictures always worse than original

Interesting, I also had some problems (or at least it felt different than in reality) with how my camera captured sand green in a recent build (http://www.eurobricks.com/forum/index.php?showtopic=118528). I had calibrated the white balance so it's not that at least (wrong white balance is a very common source for weird color renditions in MOC photos imho).
