Great job, peedeejay! The attention to detail is superb. I like that the exterior is a bit understated for what's inside.

Thanks again everyone!

I love the exterior almost as much as that wonderful interior.

Thanks. It was quite a challenge to pull it off since the medium dark flesh tiles only exist as 1x4 and 1x2. A 1x1 would have made it a lot easier. :)

Hi Peedeejay,

I've found your website, but can't find the way to buy your building instructions there. Can you post a link where to buy these instructions?

Many thanks!

Unfortunately I stopped selling instructions for a while (someone was jealous enough to sue me and I have to manage a few things...). I hope they will be back up in a month or two.

Hi,

The same for me - it will perfectly fit with the 'regular' modular collection i started, so...Can't wait you sell instructions again ! :-)

Thanks !

Thank you for your review Terry! I really enjoy how you take your time to discuss every detail. You also spotted quite a few things that I would do different if I were to build it again nowadays:

- The SNOT walls at the side are a bit loose: Unfortunately the SNOT'ing is necessary to achive the effect with the tiles and antistud 1x1's at the side, but I tweaked the technique in the meantime with my Police Station.
- The upper parts of the staircase rails always falling off when trying to put the model together: I have to admit, it is driving me nuts as well. :D

By the way, I checked again why you are not able to place the small wall part at the roof. My guess is you used 1x1 brick with studs on two side and not on one side at page 84 of book 3. Other than that I don't see how it shouldn't be possible.

Moreover I have updated the instruction in the meantime to a version 1.2, which replaces the dark tan arches on the inside with dark bluish grey ones, since they really did become expensive in the meantime. I also fixed the problem with the slops on the middle level.

Anyway, thanks again!

You're not alone! One of the challenges of achieving a certain aesthetic or connection technique while also making the overall construction stable and strong. I'm constantly working with this in every build, wanting to overlap pieces for strength for example but hitting snags and needing to compromise. Your results are always fantastic though so a slightly less than "ideal" connection is perfectly acceptable IMO! I'm always looking for areas where multiple gaps of brick ends line up in official sets for example, if TLG does it then we can too.

Wow, it looks incredibly realistic and stylish. I think it might be a great idea for an online casino with doing it in this style I've read about something similar among the Casinospieles.de reviews because it's interesting to play with free spins in the images of your favorite Lego characters.
