Junior Shark Posted March 15, 2016 (edited) So I built a speeder bike. It's currently decked out in Resistance livery. Yes, I know this belongs in the pantheon of TFA MOC gods. Please, hold your applause. Resistance Speeder Bike by Junior Shark, on Flickr Comments, Criticism, Questions, Gripes and Complaints all welcome. Update! Additional views. Nope, it just doesn't sound as cool. Ellisss_ Posted March 15, 2016 I love this MOC. Great little touches of blue it gives the model that resistance feel. Nice shaping overall!
Forresto Posted March 15, 2016 Nice it's a very slick MOC. Compact, concise, and the colors look excellent!
Junior Shark Posted March 15, 2016 First post has been updated with more pictures. @All: Thanks! I made this with color modularity in mind, so expect to see a couple others. I think one in Imperial livery would be especially tasty...
LiLmeFromDaFuture Posted March 22, 2016 I am most fond of the design for the handle bars—simple yet effective!
Junior Shark Posted March 22, 2016 (edited) @LiLme: Thanks! It sure ain't no UCS AT-AT, though! I'm a bit of a hack- the handle bar design is from the Ezra's Speeder Bike set: http://shop.lego.com...eder-Bike-75090 I figured it was OK though, since I partially based this MOC on this TFA toy: http://theincredible.../2/12in_poe.jpg which is more or less an Imperial speeder bike from Rebels: http://vignette1.wik...=20150718175145 which is what's in the Speeder Bike set. If it ain't broke, don't fix it, right? Edited March 22, 2016 by Junior Shark
LiLmeFromDaFuture Posted March 22, 2016 Well, it works for me—simply fantastic! Looking at the nice size of your speeder bike, I begin wishing if Lego would eventually produce motorcycle-like chassis (plus new sign and flag shapes) designed specifically for speederbikes. Especially considering the size of Kanan's speederbike; his claw hands can barely reach the handle bars and the vehicle is taller than the minifigure! Anyway, great work! Junior Shark Posted March 22, 2016 @LiLme: That'd be sick. One speeder chassis and several different speeder shells (with plenty of attachment points for customization, of course!) like the standard Lego motorcycle. It'd be plain-ish, but would look better than that monstrosity Kanan's Speeder Bike. I personally prefer DarthTwoShedsJackson's stellar MOC: http://www.eurobricks.com/forum/index.php?showtopic=104322 @Kman: *Gives silent nod acknowledging the effusive praise hiding beneath your surface, giving an OK to unload said praise*
