MrLee Posted March 12, 2016 Hi all, Just wanted to share a MOC I have been working on of an Imperial Tie Interceptor. I have taken elements from 75082 and looked over the original 6206 for some inspiration, but it is largely the result of just using whatever was in my parts bin :) Thanks for looking. Ellisss_ Posted March 12, 2016 Beautiful MOC! I have one criticism, the green studs don't really go with the model I would remove them! Good shaping on the wings. Overall this is a great model!
dream-in-bricks Posted March 15, 2016 Nice "dagger" wings! Good call on the horizontal clip + handles combo -- they're more flexible for tweaking the angle at which the daggers attach to the mid-sections; you've got it perfected. If you have more plates on hand, try extending the wings towards the back by a few more studs to balance it out. I like how the tiles bordering the wings are all facing outwards. Clean and efficient, staying true to the TIE design!
Junior Shark Posted March 16, 2016 Gorgeous! Nothing like the 75082 canopy (http://brickset.com/sets/75082-1/TIE-Advanced-Prototype) to jazz up a TIE MOC! My one gripe? I think the pylons connecting the wings to the cockpit need to be beefed up a bit.
