Kai NRG Posted March 11, 2016 To the Worthy Citizens of Eslandola, This month, the Empire of Eslandola has three warships available for escort duty. The Secretary of State has drafted three routes. These are open first of all to any Eslandian citizen. If after the 25th of March there is still room available, citizens of the other nations may apply as well. Sea Rats will need a note of legitimacy from a respected authority. (How do you get that? I have no idea. If you're interested, you might want to get the letter ready before the 25th, so you can be first in line.) Slots are granted on a first-come-first-serve basis. Clouding Blues: Low-Medium Risk. Escorted by the Dark Lighting. Designed for two (2) speed ships. Run is full. Pato Moreno, kabel - Flotilla A Aurei Lacerta, Umbra-Manis - Flotilla A Winds Beauty, LegoStone - Flotilla A Stubborn Stern, Captain Braunsfeld - Flotilla B La Transferata, Titus V - Flotilla B Dragon's Teeth: High Risk. Escorted by the Queen of Terreli. Designed for two (2) speed ships. Run is full. Lady of Madrice, Capt Wolf - Flotilla A The Bright Owl, Sir Stig - Flotilla A Fenix, Phadeout - Flotilla A The Cotton Lady, Elsoterion - Flotilla B The Golden Snake, Kai NRG - Flotilla B Double Duty: Medium Risk. Escorted by the Trovão. Designed for three (3) speed ships. Heart of Eslandia, MCTC - Flotilla A Wringe II, LegoStone - Flotilla A La Raenette, Faladrin - Flotilla A La Defensora, Captain Green Hair - Flotilla B The Golden Star, Maxim I - Flotilla B > How do I participate? Sign up in this thread for a slot on the run of you choice. Post a link to your build and be sure to specify what type of license you have. If you haven't done it already, fill out the ship license form. Once enough members have signed up for your run you will be invited to a PM thread with your fellow merchants. There, you will receive details on your route. When the MRCA form is ready, you'll be given a link. Then just follow the directions on the form and you'll be ready to go! Important! Eslandola provides escorts but does not guarantee safety! So what are you waiting for? Let the sign-ups begin! __________________Guy K. Capt Wolf Posted March 11, 2016 Capt Philip Janszen is looking for a big payday. He'll take his Class 2WR Lady of Madrice on the high-risk Dragon's Teeth run.
Sir Stig Posted March 11, 2016 (edited) Capt Ludwig Saxchsenhauser is feeling confident after two successful runs, so he will bring The Bright Owl (Class 2T) on the daring Dragon's Teeth run. Third time's the charm. *Knocks on wood* Kai: It's Trovão, not Travoa. Edited March 11, 2016 by Sir Stig
Phadeout Posted March 11, 2016 (edited) Alejandro de la Calle will send the Fenix (class 2T) on the Dragon's Teeth run. Having outrun many pirates last month he is feeling a little cocky. Edited March 11, 2016 by Phadeout
Elostirion Posted March 11, 2016 Román Esteban Fontonajo is quite sad, seeing the Queen of Terreli sail away before his inner eye. "Clouding Blues", he says, signing up "The Cotton Lady". (in case there are more than three slots in the "Dragon's Teeth" run or in case one of you bails out, I'd sign up for that one ofc)
Kai NRG Posted March 11, 2016 Elosterion, there are five slots a run. I'm signing you up for the Dragon's Teeth. I'm also signing the Heart of Eslandia (5T) up for Double Duty. I'm also signing The Golden Snake (2WR) up for Dragon's Teeth. Dragon's Teeth is full. ...Kai: It's Trovão, not Travoa. Will fix! Thanks!
kabel Posted March 11, 2016 Clouding Blues with the Pato Moreno please!
Umbra-Manis Posted March 11, 2016 I will send the Aurei Lacerta on the Clouding Blues Run.
TitusV Posted March 11, 2016 If I sign up for the Clouding Blues run, could I bring my own 1A?
Kai NRG Posted March 11, 2016 If I sign up for the Clouding Blues run, could I bring my own 1A? Sure. Edit: But it might not be able to go the whole way (how many zones can a 1A travel?).
Bregir Posted March 11, 2016 Sure. Edit: But it might not be able to go the whole way (how many zones can a 1A travel?). A 1A is limited to travelling within one zone, making it rather unsuitable for escort duty. :)
Capt Wolf Posted March 11, 2016 A class 1A is one of the few types that is limited to one zone.

Mike S Posted March 11, 2016 So then, I guess, you could bring it along for one zone. But not really a whole lot of point to that. I thought we discussed this somewhere but I don't remember where. From what I understood, the convoy can only go as far as the slowest ship... is this not correct?
Kai NRG Posted March 12, 2016 I thought we discussed this somewhere but I don't remember where. From what I understood, the convoy can only go as far as the slowest ship... is this not correct? If that's the case, I was certainly not aware of it... I was under the impression that a ship with less zones would stop after reaching its max. But I could be wrong. gedren_y Posted March 12, 2016 From what I understand, this has to do with the function of the tabletop gaming style movement in the MRCA. The ship level determines how many spaces a ship can move in a given turn. A whole convoy, in game, moves at the level of its lowest leveled ship.
Legostone Posted March 12, 2016 (edited) The Wringe II will be joining the Double Duty convoy. The Winds Beauty (MAESTRO) will be joining Clouding Blues. Edited March 12, 2016 by Legostone
Kai NRG Posted March 12, 2016 The Wringe II will be joining the Double Duty convoy... The Double Duty convoy is designed for ships with a speed of 3, and the Wringe II just has a speed of 2. I'm checking with Ska to make sure that that won't slow the other ships down. If it doesn't, you're welcome to join, but you won't be able to visit all three ports. Kai NRG Posted March 12, 2016 The Wringe II should be a class 2F, it shouldn't slow other ships down. Sorry about that then, I had forgotten that the Fs have a speed above their class. You're good!
Captain Braunsfeld Posted March 13, 2016 The "Stubborn Stern" (Class 2T) would like to join the Clouding Blues. Here's the link: [ESL-FB] Take a bad ship ... and make it better
Tezclatipoca Posted March 13, 2016 (edited) Felipe's ship La Raenette (class 2F, speed 3) will follow the Double Duty road this month. EDIT : Forgot the link to my build. Edited March 13, 2016 by Faladrin
