Here is my third free-build for this month, so I kindly ask for approvals from Corrington, Oleon and the much-feared Sea Rats.

Little Shop of Parrots

800x697.jpg

I have shown some Pontelli houses before, but, of course, in Eslandola everything is about commerce!

800x647.jpg

With the size of fleets constantly expanding, the growing number of captains is triggering an extremely high demand for parrots.

800x600.jpg

Percy, the parrotmonger, is the first address in Pontelli if you are looking for a Norwegian Blue.

800x689.jpg

You can easily find him: Main road 5, open from 9 - 6 every day, except for Sundays.

800x756.jpg

C&C & approvals welcome!

I see you've immortalized the Norwegian Blue on the roof. Fun build! I'd approve if I could.

'Parrotmonger' default_roflmao.gif

Lovely store, both in idea and in execution. Another fine example of 'CB quality story-telling and architecture'TM!

One approval from Oleon thumbup.gif

The parrot head roof is cute :)

[COR] gives one

Thanks- much appreciated!

So that`s how Diagon Alley would have looked like in the 16th century

You're right - and more to come pirate_satisfied.gif

No worries, fans of the Norwegian Blue are always appreciated!

There should be a parrotmonger, right? pirate_laugh2.gif

Thanks a lot to Oleon!

I like these parrots on the roof!

Me too - pity you cannot approve as fellow Eslandoleander.

That's a cute build.

[sR] thumbs up

Thank you, Sir!

Approval from me!

A fun little build. I hope none of these parrots have been nailed to the perch?

Wow! Just wow! That shop is too colorful and too cute to pass!

Thanks ... but you missed the approval ... pirate_cry4.gif:cry2:

Oh no, you have edited your post pirate_laugh2.gif

An extremely humorous concept and build!

 from Corrington

Of course not.

But as you might remember, all these parrots have been hand-painted:

So, if I buy a norwegian blue, how do I know it's not just a painted grey one? pirate_tong.gif

I like the tie-in with the other build/story. I wonder if you use a different color 1x1 plate in the building parrots would that give them some eyes. :classic:

That is even worse than the question about hen and egg... pir_laugh2.gif

I approve. The story and build are awesome especially when reminded of the back story.

Thanks! pirate_satisfied.gif

That is a good idea, well, maybe such large parrots would be terrifying? Let's see pirate_laugh2.gif

A clean, simple little build with a funny premise.

Corrington approves.

PS. It always annoyed me that those parrots were just wider than one stud...

I'm wondering when Rick Moranis and Steve Martin will show up and start singing. Little Shop of , , , what now?

Yepp, they are wider than one stud, but just a little bit.

I'm wondering when Rick Moranis and Steve Martin will show up and start singing. Little Shop of , , , what now?

I hope they won't appear pirate_laugh_new.gif

This Sea Rat approves of this shop!

I hope they accept stolen gold as payment for a pirate's best friend!

They'll accept your gold as long as you keep quiet about where it's from pirate_laugh2.gif

Nice little shop !

So, this is where your natives slaves partners are selling their parrots... Good to know.

I think some of the Ténotclaxcans are good customers of that shop as they wear more and more parrot headgears !

Do you want to buy a parrot or two?

Humorous little shop, although based on some of your old builds I shouldn't be surprised at the subject matter. :pir-wink:

It may look a little bit modern thanks to the big parrot decorations but it's still a nice build. I really like the colorscheme.

This Corry approves.
