Classic Space version of Star Wars Resistance Troop Transporter 75140

Recommended Posts

Absolutely love it.

Classic space Star wars style for the win !

The interior is pretty neat for that size.

You´ve packed a lot into it at that scale.

Great MOC ! :classic:

Absolutely brilliant. I'd buy it in a heartbeat. How many pieces is it?

I love it and I want you to tell me that all of the pieces came from a Benny ship. Please do that, but only if it is true.

Absolutely fantastic!

Nothing else I can say about it that I feel has not already been said.

Everyone- thanks for all the wonderful feedback!

I would guess around 550 pieces, probably a little less than the actual Star Wars set since there are less technic elements used.

I wish I could tell you that. There are not that many hard to find elements in this. The only ones I can readily think of that have not been produced in a long while are the blue and trans yellow hinges on top and the classic space printed elements. The classic space logos on the tail-pieces are stickers from Benny's Space Ship.

Let's hope for more Benny in the next Lego Movie!

You also had a same idea as me. I thought Benny's ship was neat when it came out, but I didn't build one until the Series 15 astronaut came out. I immediately wanted a retro ship to put him in and I look at all the Classic Space stuff (I grew up on Futuron, not the blue stuff) and Benny's ship was what I wanted for him.

Wow, that's a freaking cool theme mix with two of my all time favourite themes.

It works really well as a CS model and it still has the Star Wars touch, wow!

Great job! :classic:
