Hi

Are there any restrictions regarding the height??

All the best Henning M.

No.

As long as you stay with the width.

And I do know what height and width is...:wink:

So am I, and so am I. But it's a bit flexible, so I can push it back in :)

Quite happy! Just need to place a BrickLink order or two... so I might be a bit pressed for time...

Since alien parts are allowed, are we allowed to use custom capes?

Yep, go ahead!

I've got mine built with the added challenge of most of my LEGO being inaccessible (Durn family and their DIY plans..grumble). I'm pretty happy with how it turned out.

Am I allowed to have a base border that is beyond the 8x8 dimension, or is that considered part of the dimension constraint?

I built mine the day the competition was announced...., and I don't dare look at it again now because I'll be tempted to pull it apart, redo it or mess around with it in some way, with no time to put it back together again!
