vinchente000 Posted January 29, 2016 Hello peeps, I started to move my office/lego room around in the last few days and wanted to display my ninjago sets more proudly as I have come to love the theme a lot. Specifically the city of Stiix and the airjitzu temple as they both have water. Here are some pictures of my current layout. (note: i am new to Moc creations). I am able to buy bricks but I wish to not to as I am trying to reduce spending money on lego for a bit. Thank you guys and I am looking forward to your comments :)
gamejutzu Posted January 30, 2016 (edited) That layout is okay, I guess. But I myself prefer to put my stuff on the table, pure Lego, without any cloth or backgrounds. If you could build a mini-structure or something to connect both areas, and remove repeating minifigures, it may look better. Right now, something about it is off. it looks a bit... Random. But that's just me. Maybe try adding custom-built structures to it to, spice things up? Like mini-trees, mini-shrines, etc. Things to make it feel more at home. azog Posted February 1, 2016 I like it a lot and of course its your layout but it could look so much better if you do it like my layout. I have a mixture of different lego sets mixed together to get the perfect look such as these sets. 1. The lego ninjago temple of airjitzu 2. Lego ninjago spinjitzu dojo 3. Lego ninja samurai stronghold 4. Lego Indiana Jones Cairo escape? 5. And a wole lot of MOC's All together this layout looks really really good. so if you wish you can always fix it up if you like but that is my suggestion
Dr.Cogg Posted February 1, 2016 you could probably build an ocean layout, but you would have to buy blue base plates and parts for the shores and docks, like for example, you have the City of Stix, you could add some more docks and partial buildings, you also have Tiger Widow Island, which you could add to the classic Islanders and add a shore with some docks, than if you have any ships put those out in the ocean.
