this is awesome, and big too. i love the detailing of it. but is there suspension or a fake motor?

and am i seeing it correctly that you have some sort of functioning brakes and a retractable stair at the door?

anyway, great camper van :)

Good grief! I've only just gotten over the 'shock' at the size of Sariels Maus and you post this. It's huge and so detailed.

Well done, it's a brilliant build.

Not only that this is huge and accurate but also very rare subject among lego models (Actually I doubt I have ever seen anything to really measure this with) creating a its own category :D It seems you didn't leave out single detail. I'm looking forward to more pictures!

Sjajno!

Now, this is really something different. As a huge RV fan, i can really appreciate this model.

First, is it based on some real life class C motorhome?

Nice work on the details on the bodywork, and all the doors to access vital RV functions, like power, holding tanks, propane tanks and garage.

Great work on the mosaic surfer at the back, too.

I am not too fond on the driving unit, though. It looks a bit too elongated.

Judging by the window size and placement, i would say that internal layout is: Sitting area front left, kitchen front right, bathroom middle left, main closets middle right, and all the back is the bed for two with large garage underneath?

@tibivi; no way anything works! Its kind a display model with as much details as possible. I thing i didnt forget much stuff. This pic tells a lot, why nothing cant work :)

24238179149_f67eca9961_c.jpg

And it was only half way build. It weights 14,3 kilos.

@Milan; yes , i am not very technical type of person. So the motor and everything else around its my imagination. As is it RV itself.

And few more exterior pics:

This is not an MOC, don't lie to us!

It's an actual RV that was cleverly covered in the mesh of thin lines to make audience think it's made of Lego!

(that's my way of saying it's an awesome build; great job!!!)

Awesome build with all those great details. That wheel and tire don't look too happy. You could make some jack stands to rest all that weight on. In real life some RV owners place their RV on jack stands when parked for long periods of time so that the tires don't end up with flat spots. :classic:

The size of this MOC doesn't look too big until you notice Unimog tyres on it. That's huge and looks great! I was a bit disappointed model didn't have at least steering, but with 14Kg weight I understand why.

Update. I have also checked pics on Flickr - interior details to pretty much everything are just stunning!

This is insane! The sheer size, the amount of detail. I'm still trying to wrap my head around it. Also, the amount of detail!

Did I mention I love the detail?

Just one word .... wow :classic:

"yes , i am not very technical type of person"
For a non-technical person, I think it's even more looks great.

It's just amazing all those details like all those outlets and hatches at the side. Underneath, the exhaust and all that.

And then the pics of the interior. It's just great to see all those things. Very detailed.

I also like all that 'junk' in the RV, all the pots and pans, dishes in the sink, toys all of the kids ... looks like they are already on holiday

I'm sure I can get some inspiration of it for my own moc.

I don't know what to say. Is there any detail I didn't possibly think of? It's mind blowing creation.

I believe i would speak for all the readers off this thread, that your RV deserves a place in the Hall of Fame and has to be put on the Front page.

I draw my hat.

Good plan

Just saw the video, great. Now I've seen even some more details, like that little reading light in the front sleeping area :classic:

You keep discovering things.

I'm still wondering how you made the triangelair sink. Is it also lego or ...

Only, maybe it's an idea to use a longer cable between the RV and the meterbox.

Now the cable is hanging in the air. That's not so good for the connections

(maybe it's because I've been an electrician) It's just a tiny thing but ...
