maybe it isn't, but i'm still into old-school-lego... i like more to include as much bricks and plates as possible... e.g. i'm not really sure what to think about the construction of the at-at (especially the head...), because it looks more like a plate-covered technic-set than a classic system styled set...

(that doesn't mean that i don't like the at-at, he (or it?!?) is one of the very best star wars sets till today!!!)

I think the roof mechanism is pretty neat but not very appropriate. There are too many gaps and it looks like it isn't very strong. I hope I will find out soon! :D

But unlike the older LEGO sets, underneath the cover wasn't a plastic window where you can gaze upon the insides and see some of the goodies you'll be getting. Instead, there was just more artwork, including an extremely large mockup of the now infamous Death Star Space scene and the numbers that bring dread to everyone's ears: 10131. There's no doubt it's a TIE set of some sort, but I digress.

Just saw Ace's review on FBTB and noticed this.

Too bad we don't get any more info on 10131 :( , oh well! I m sure we'll find out soon enough.

Is the cockpit window a sticker or a decorated piece. Also, is it just me or does the left sticky out triangular sorta thing (sorry couldn't remember name :D) look smaller and thinner than the right one??? :huh:

as far as i know, all cockpit pieces are printed... (there is no sticker for this at dnd's photo of the sticker sheet).

oh, and this ship is modiefied by somebody (see the topic at fbtb: http://www.fbtbforums.net/viewtopic.php?t=1189), he made only the one (larger) half....
