Cloud City is one of my favourite movie locations... it just has something charming. I was building something else when I stumbled across round corner bricks of 6x6 and 10x10 and somehow Cloud City just popped into my head. After a couple of hours the design was ready. Inside the structure there are 2 LEGO light bricks to emphasize the many windows. The build was photographed on a poorly lit orange background to give it a subtle orange sheen. Apart from the background nothing is digitally edited.

Maybe you should have put "Micro" in the title ; I thought I would find a setting scaled for minifigures (something I hear others long for as a new set ).

Nevertheless, this is an effective representation at the given scale with the subtle use of round brick corners, and the lighting is a nice feature. All that is needed are some landing platforms with micro ships such as a twin-pod car, Slave 1, or Millennium falcon to accompany the city!

Wow! This looks amazing, especially against that background.

I don't think that there is a way to make those ships recognizeable at this scale, Unless forced perspective is used.

I too anticipated a large Cloud City, but this one did not disappoint me despite is small size. It captures the shape of the city perfectly and I think you did an amazing job recreating one of my favorite places in Star Wars in such a small scale

Ah, I see, you are correct.

Thank you everyone!

Aye... I forgot to put in 'Micro' in the title :classic:

It is indeed a small build, but I guess it's possible to use forced perspective to fit in a ship. It is as it is, but for future projects I like the idea.
