Elysabethtown

1. Background

When our good king Fenando VII decided to give his daughter to Lord Damaximus and a charter to MAESTRO, many opportunists were quick to flock to the green-and-white flag of the brand-new trading company. And when the recent discoveries of new isles, in the surroundings of Nelissa, provided good land, MAESTRO's leaders were quick to see this chance. As such, they decided to found a new settlement, the first brick of their soon-to-be imperium. And after Ivo Fortesque, a friend of Damaximus himself, told us about the excellent spot of this location, with an excellent harbour and natives to trade with, we wasted no time.

For the better, because when we arrived and had started to construct our first buildings, the Vengeance under leading of Erie Flynn sailed into the Dragon Bay. After a diplomatic effort of our brand-new mayor, Elysabeth of Drondil, he sailed away without declaring instant war. But now, tidings have reached our ears that he has found another setllement, Port Raleigh, at the opposite side of the island. Trouble seems coming...

Dear friends,

I have made an encounter during my exploration around Elysabethtown and I think this could be of interest.

I met a tribe who is calling themselves the Ténotclaxcans and found out their main village, Zum'heria, is near Elysabethtown.

They are friendly with us but could be dangerous if we bring them war...

I guaranteed them we will never carry weapons against them.

They are great jungle scouts and good farmers, they have some quite good bananas plantations, and I think I can teach them how to develop apple trees orchards.

This tribe have great legends and tradition I am willing to study and are not cannibals.

So, I am asking to you, my dear friends and partners to consider the natives as MAESTRO and Eslandola friends and allies.

I was thinking to help the village development and help the integration of it inside Elysabethtown rules.

The Royal Commerce of Elysabethtown

The very succesfull Pirate Lay-out at Brickmania Antwerp (2016) was named the "Top piece" of the exposition. Thanks to the many builds of the participants. As a thank you, those participants have the chance to buy shares of the Royal Commerce we are making from this Pirate Lay-out.

There were a lot of fresh new buildings showed at the public. Some of them will never be licenced as a property itself, so these are combined to match the requirements of a Royal Commmerce.

Here is the list:

• Market Square of Elysabethtown (64x64 studs - 4096)
  • A part of the commercial heart of Elysabethtown. Very colourfull and full of exotic people. Le Grand Bazar on the right is the place to discover the newest hypes...
  • 
• Commerce at the beach (96x64 studs - (96x64 studs - 6144)
  • Note: the fortress does not count anymore towards the commercial part.
  • Just outside Elysabethtown, the "White Horn" tavern welcomes travellers and locals to offer them the best ale. As the tavern is flourishing, smart merchants have set up small stalls around the tavern to sell their wares...

• Ténotclaxcans Merchant Quarter of Elysabethtown (64x64 studs - 4096)
• • Also just outside Elysabethtown is the Tenotclaxcans Quarter located. They have a big island for themself where their merchants can rest before going back to their village. The meeting point for the different Tenotclaxcan tribes and merchants to change wares and thoughts.
