LEGO Collectable Minifigures Series 16 Rumors and Discussion

Recommended Posts

Recolored, the Tribal Woman's baby piece would look as baby in a blanket (IMHO)

And I guess she will have the Zombie Cheeleader pigtails recolored.

True, I could see that as well. But after getting a whole new hairpiece for the Faun when it was believed he would just reuse the Gargoyle's headpiece, it makes me think LEGO isn't afraid to make different kinds of new molds even though they would end up looking similar.

Though I am totally for a ZC pigtails recolor, and a new baby bottle mold, though the construction of one using existing parts as CM4Sci mentioned wouldn't be a bad idea either. I guess it just depends on what ends up being the new mold(s) on her, if any.

SPOOKY BOY? :grin_wub: I've wanted the Spooky Girl to have a brother ever since she was revealed. I hope he's more along the lines of a twin in a similar suit rather than a little kid, though. And a babysitter sounds great. Secret Agent could be really cool or really boring.

But seriously, the Spooky Boy already guarantees that this will be a fantastic series. I can't wait!!!

Probably more like Pugsley, since the Spooky Girl was more like Wednesday- apparently human, but spooky nonetheless.

When pics come out, I call using him as my avatar. I love my monochrome minifigs!

My ideal Imp minifigure would come with pale blonde hair, one green eye and one black eye. He would come with a book titled "The Histories" and a new duel molded wine glass with red wine. However, I doubt that is the version of the Imp we will get.

So ..Tyrion? :D

I'd expect both of these (or at least the 1st).

So far, none has piqued my interest as much as the Banana Suit Guy. Can't wait to see what these will look like, as I may be swayed my images.

Those talking about a new babies bottle piece might want to look throuh some of the friends stuff, they made one for that which would be fine for a minifigure so would imagine a reuse of that before a new part.

Exactly. I even have that piece.

I'm really not sure what a 'babysitter' looks like, or of it's likely to see a reuse of the baby piece.

Can however think of a few CMF ideas that could else it : female Eskimo, islander, or what about a midwife?

Thing is, Friends parts are rarely used with minifigures.

Midwife? Do you mean like at a convent? I think "babysitter" here refers to an enterprising teenage girl watching someone's kids.

LEGO needs to be careful how they do the babysitter mini figure. It cold easily be seen as a teenage mother and thus promoting it. How many kids (and their parents) actually go on line to read the character bios. I was trying to think of the person's expression and thought about a distressed look holding a crying baby. I realized how the entire idea would/could come across. Thoughts?

Banana suit guy would be an epic mini figure, prob best of all time if done right.

Spooky boy sounds iffy. Hope it looks like Pugsly, as someone had previously mentioned.

I see far less potential for mistaking the sitter for a mother than teenage for a grownup.

Take a stroll around any mall in America and explain how you'd be able to make that distinction.

Sadly, If I see a teenager with a young child I am more likely to believe that it's their kid, not babysitting.

The Babysitter will probably wear an uniform, like this:

And it will probably say "BABYSITTING SERVICE" on her back or something

Female Eskimo would be interesting for sure!

Maybe a checklist of things to do from the parents? I don't think LEGO would promote young motherhood, but when I think "babysitter", I don't think of someone from a service or company. Could be interesting depending on what they do.

I'm wondering what the Spooky Boy might come with. A skeleton teddy would go nicely to match the Spooky Girl, but if he's like Pugsley, I expect something mad-sciency. Perhaps a flask with solid grey "liquid"?

No. Not necessarily - unless it was an historic version. A midwife as in a specialist nurse who has an excuse to come with a baby mould.

In the UK a babysitter is just anyone who looks after someone's kids, it's not someone with a recognisable uniform or appearance.

Maybe it's a doctor or nurse person at a hospital with a sleeping baby and a bottle. Would it need a bottle?

That's the case over here in the US, too. I usually think "someone who watches kids", not "hired from a business". A nurse for newborns would be interesting, but I don't think she'd be described as a babysitter.

Not to be assuming, but I would think that a girl and a baby would be commonly interpreted as a girl and her brother/sister. I mean, there's not much indication of Tribal Woman's age, is there? And keep in mind that a babysitter would not necessarily come with a baby.

I hope the imp is not a costume. If it is, the best case scenario is horns w/out hair, in my opinion.

Depends on age, I'm not that old but probably because near where i live there was a quite well known college for 'nannys' who were known for wearing a very old fashioned type of uniform...but admittedly most people in the UK wouldn't think of a baby sitter service.

I know the Babysitters usually don't wear uniforms. I was just thinking on a solution to the "young mother" issue

About the Secret Agent, I think he will be a cost saver. LEGO has already a lot of pieces and weapons that he can use. So, I guess no new parts for him

And I think it will be a guy, because a female would look very similar to the S15 Jewel Thief

The secret agent will obviously have something related to ultra agents. Some good examples are Series 8 alien villainess who belongs with alien conquest, series 12 dino Hunter who belongs with 2012 dino theme, and series 13 galaxy trooper who belongs with galaxy squad. I do expect him to be similar to ultra agents.

the babysitting i did as a teen never included actual babies. more 3 years and over. only babies ive ever looked after alone were my niece and nephews. i remember taking my niece for a walk into town. she would have been about 1, i would have been 20 or 21, and getting some filthy looks even then. felt like getting her a shirt "worlds best niece" or something, lol.

locally at least, we dont have babysitting companies, mostly individuals looking for a bit of cash and experience. so long as the babysitter had normal legs, most kids would assume mother and baby before anything else.
