Can I use 9.6v batteries for RCX or any PF devices?

Maybe you heard there are some new rechargeable batteries as below:

I want to use three such batteries with three dummy batteries in 9.6v for RCX or any PF devices, does this have any problems?

9.6V should be fine, less than 10% more normal batteries.

this may be a to strong current: Normall alkali batteries are 1.5, so a batterybox with alkali batteries would be 9V

With these it would be 9.6V, only way to know this is to test it

Though I know AFOL in China use it for technic with PF motors, he modified LEGO office battery 8881 and let it be a rechargeable battery.

I don't think there could be any problem with these batteries. Hight current handling is impressive (though mostly useless with LEGO current-limited battery boxes), but capacity is not outstanding,..

I was wondering the same thing but with six 1.6V rechargeable batteries and no dummy batteries.
