An accessory.

The baby is not listed in the official description of the series. It says "Tribal Woman", not "Tribal Woman and her baby"

Maybe a Krampus minifigure :look:

You know... for kids!

I'm sure we'll see a devil figure of some sort extremely soon.

Thank you everyone for your comments and thoughts. I have updated another four new images into the review and one of which is my new favourite that reflect the good assortment of the Grim Knight which reflect the Lord of the Rings very well. For Rohan!

Sorry Blakstone, I misread your request. I will redo it for you if an opportunity present itself again. Meanwhile, I hope this alternate image will be of interest to you.

This is the correct image,

Nope, the Queen is not the normal 2x4 brick base. It's a 1x2 brick base in the centre and both sides with hollow area.

An image to reflect the bottom view of Queen,

Nice combination indeed, and I think I have misread your request. Sorry. I will work on it.

This is the right image,

@WhiteFang: I have a question about the mop of the janitor.

Could you put the stick of the mop also in the other side of the mop so it looks when you have the mop upsidedown, the hairs of the mop still hang down?

Robert8 has pointed the link to you and yes it can be done.

For example: I grew up with classic space but this CS guy is really ... uninspired. :cry_sad:

Aww, there is some modern taste to it though. I hope the flag could cheer you up a little.

Sorry didn't mean to come across that way :)

Thank you for your understanding.

So glad the Queen has the leg pins so she'll stay attached! Really wish they would do this for any character who has to use the old sloped dress piece from now on too..

I´m still wondering about the new dress-piece...

I don´t think it´s very useful for many dress-wearing Minifigs.

Don´t get me wrong, I really like the design of that queen, but i don´t think, that wide-load dress would look good at any of the other CMF in past (including S12/Fairytale Princess).

Even in a medieval setting only the fewest women would wear such a dress.

I wonder why they didn´t reused the curved brick 2x4x2 for that.

In fact, this wouldn´t be so soft-curved like that new dress, but otherwise it looks nearly the same, especially when the back part is covered by a cape.

By the way, @WhiteFang:

Thanks for that great review. :sweet::thumbup:

Cheers Whitefang, looks great, will need to Brasso off the upper print of the slope as that looks a little odd but I like the way it looks

Looks good... looks even better with the straps removed but as it's on a white torso, would need to match the yellow

The curved brick is probably out of production, and it's a bit too large and blocky looking. Also, the new piece has leg pins to keep it attached when lifting the Queen off a base. This is also why most of the piece is hollow with the strongest point of connection being in the middle. There are a few other noblewomen and princesses they could use the dress for (it's been seen in a royal outfit for Macy in Nexo Knights) and they'll definitely get some use out of it.

Great review, but is anyone else seeing Richard Attenborough in the farmer?!

Great review! I love the clumsy guy, shark suit guy, janitor and farmer. Don`t care too much about the rest.. feel I`ve seen them before.

Others can correct me if I'm wrong, but I think what people are excited about is the prospect of a female dress piece with posts instead of studs, and that doesn't make her taller than the male minifigures. Hopefully they'll make a standard slope dress piece like that, and I'm thinking a lot of us are happy about that prospect. I did a ballroom dancing MOC and actually got a complaint from someone that the women were taller than the men, and wanted me to fix it. :sceptic:

Yeah... but if you saw what I looked like right now (with reading glasses), you could say it was me, too (and I'm not that old - under 50, but my beard is quite gray), so I think it's fairly generic.

Fair enough, just what came to mind first, that's all.

^^ Don't get me wrong, there's definitely a resemblance.... I guess I kind of look like him when I'm wearing glasses. Maybe I should shave (my hair is not gray, only my beard, it adds 15 years to my appearance - which already isn't all that great).

I believe we might be seeing the dress again in light blue, not for Macy though.

Do tell. The only one I can think of would be Cinderella.

Maybe Cinderella, I dunno about any Princesses being included though.

I know Disney didn't write Cinderella, but I'd definitely associate Cinderella with Disney at this point... sadly, maybe, but true.

Well, who else would use that dress in light blue? It's either a generic fancy lady or Cinderella. The latter's dress doesn't really match, so it's got to be someone else.

And where is this info coming from?

"kinda" Disney related could mean Marvel or Star Wars?

Is there any sort.... of evil crazy Princess villain among the Marvel characters?

I know nothing about superheroes/comics stuff

A good instance for what I´ve meant.

The old curved brick doesn´t look too bad as a skirt, especially with that ribbon on the backside.

I agree with you, that the dress piece can be used for several court ladies that come in future.

But I don´t think, it could replace the common sloped dress piece generally.

A new dress piece with a base of 2x2, the height of standard legs and the larger leg pins would me more usable.

It looks good in the drawing but it looks weird in the "flesh"

Someone made it and took a picture in the Disney CMF thread and it doesn't look good

Thanks for yet another great minifigure review.

I really feel that whatever bags one might pick they all have some value to them compared to most other series. At least for me.

That astronaut makes a childhood dream come through. When i was 9-11 years i made a rainbow build of Apollo11. The biggest build i ever made at that age. I had my fathers cyclopedia next to me, building it with every stage modular minifig size.

Now as i have progressed with my skills and that astronaut arriving soonish. I so need 4 of those and need to rebuild my first real MOC.

For nostalgic reasons. And for Rohan !

That picture is great by the way WhiteFang !

I´ve found what you´ve meant, and I agree with you. ( # )

It looks more than an extremely fat lady, or an alien snail queen or something like that...

Maybe it would look better with an appropriate printing, or with the cape of S15´s Queen over that backside, but I fully agree now that the new dress piece is much better.

Thank you very much for this great review, WhiteFang! :classic:

After a wait for one year, this series is finally a great and traditional series how they imo should be (no licensed one and none which concentrates on one special subject) and how I like them! And it's even one of the best series we've seen so far!

Farmer

- no single new accessory

- a gardener with watering can would have been much, much better

Astronaut :classic:

+ ok, but don't care

Grim Knight

- acuate tooth in the mouth

+ excellent torso design

+ nice new weapon

Injured

+ crutches and bandage

+ funny torso

+ nice printing on the plaster

Tribal Woman

+ excellent torso design

+ nice feather printing

+ amazing baby

Winged Warrior :classic:

- no buckler

+ great helmet

Satyr

+ printed flute

- dislike this creature

Animal Ranger

+ nice torso

+ lovely small animal

Janitor

+ feather duster

- nasty torso (mainly because of the color)

- nasty cap (mainly because of the color)

Ballerina

+ excellent torso design

+ printed hair

+ extra skirt

Robot :classic:

+ ok, but don't care

Kendo Warrior

+ "helmet" looks good

+ swords have wooden look (not for war, but for training)

Shark Suit Guy

+ funny

Wrestler

+ nice hair piece

- dislike this type

Jewel Thief :classic:

- a bit boring since we've got enough thieves in the City theme

+ ok

Queen :classic:

- would have prefered another medieval queen

+ great torso priting

+ nice that the skirt is one piece

I'm really looking forward to buy some of these plus for the next regular series in fall!
