HenrikLego Posted November 6, 2015 (edited) When I first saw BB-8 in the first teaser (or image?) I just new I had to make a model of it. And I also knew that the first weekend in November is the annual "Cinema Day" at my local cinema. This year we are going to build a 50.000 piece Lego-mosaic from Star Wars during the event so why not make a model of BB-8 that I could bring as well? Well, here it is. 11.000 bricks, 40,8 cm in diameter. 8,4 kg. Finished tonight, and packed and ready for the event tomorrow. HenrikLego Posted November 7, 2015 Thanks for all your nice comments! DanSto: The diameter is 40,8 cm. The original is about 50 cm, so it is a bit smaller.

GandalfofHoth Posted November 16, 2015 Wow, very nice MOC, reminds me of the 2002 Jedi Master Yoda sculpture a little bit, but maybe that's just me. I agree with others that this should be an actual set.
