A few of you may have seen my earlier post about an axle, and this is where it has ended up. This is a chassis for a long wheelbase, lifted pickup truck. It features 4 wheel drive, steering, and solid axle suspension with coil shocks in the front and leaf springs in the back. Soon I will be building a Ford F-250 body for it.

But enough talk, here are some pictures.

Here is a test "offroad".

Disclaimer: No, the battery box will not be there in the final product, and yes, I do dump LEGO all over the floor.

UPDATE:

I actually did some of this a while ago, but I forgot to post pictures. Anyway, here are some more pictures. I redid the front and rear suspension to make the chassis lower and slimmer, and I have started the bodywork.

At least for Americans, the grille should be quite recognizable. For those of you who don't recognize it, it is a Ford F-250.
