Jacob Nion Posted October 28, 2015 (edited) The Streets Of Skavenport With endless forests surrounding the city, Skavenport has immense access to huntable wildlife. The skin sold by the huntsmen is processed into fine fur by Skavenports many furriers and one of the most desired exports. Foxes, sables and wolves are popular furs, but you will never find a coat of squirrel skin, or a beaver hat in Skavenport, since Lord Osric had forbidden the sale and production of rodents, in the city. On the furrier's bench last rags of flesh are severed from the skin. Tanning makes the skin smooth and durable. So, a little bit more Skavenport. Enjoy! Blufiji Posted October 28, 2015 Glad to see the hustle and bustle of a thriving coastal town such as this. Looking forward to more of the city in the coming weeks.
gedren_y Posted October 28, 2015 I believe the word you meant to use was prohibited, Ambassador Bloodmane has reported a rumor out of Skavenport, told to him by a Nestlands cosmetics trader. It is suggested that Lord Raavage had the ermine destined for his winter coat nailed to his dinner table live each night, so that he could kill them, and eat their flesh, himself. MiloNelsiano Posted October 30, 2015 Nice to see Skavenport expanding (fairly quickly at the moment). The tools and furs looks great (though the one hair piece looks maybe a little too human). Keep these coming!
Simon_S Posted October 30, 2015 I love how few different colours you put in this build. The tudor work looks great and the ground and the walls are also nice! Brick on!

cablefoxley Posted November 1, 2015 This is a lovely moc, the part usage is brilliant. The floor though is my fav bit with the gaps between tiles. Only negative is the lock printed piece, dont think it goes with the build.
Adair Posted November 3, 2015 Awesome job, again! Love the dirty medieval city feel again!

Niku Posted November 5, 2015 Your mocs are always full of nice details and ingenuos use of pieces that truly brings it to life. From base to roofs is truly an eyecatcher and even without words telling the story the images speak for themselves.
Mike S Posted November 6, 2015 Nicely done! So many great details!
Bregir Posted November 6, 2015 You are really establishing a great, distinctive style for Skavenport - and as always, your mocs are of an exquisite quality and some very interesting parts use. On top of that, you have depicted a lot of aspects of a trade - which really makes me wonder if you wouldn't be interested in entered the Skavenport fur trade in the "Trades of Historica" task? It seems like this would be perfect for it!
Spader Posted November 9, 2015 And somehow I missed this.......great build here. I love the tiles, and the buildings are nice too. Also, I love the integration of fur traders here.........
