EDIT: MY FINAL ENTRY!!!

EDIT again: Now Hi-Res Pictures available!!!

Now, i make the start:

My model is a 1-Euro-Coin-Sculpture!

euro_1a.jpg

It isn't as great as i would have liked to build it, cause i hand't enough parts to make it 64x64 studs, i only made it 32x32 studs... so there aren't as many details as i would have liked to have... :(

I hope to be able to make some better pics with a friends cam, so that the few details are better viewable...

The back of the coin is completly new, it isn't a specific countries', its a coin from the eurobrick community!!! :D (Does the "eurobricks.com" signature grow my chances to win?!? ;) )

Yes, I promised to post pictures of my entry today....

And I have.

column_2.jpg

My model is of Nelson's column from Trafalgur Square in London. I tried to make it as accurate as possible without having to buy too many pieces. It stands 37cm tall and sits on a 16x16 baseplate.

Im sorry for the quality of the pictures. I have a new camera but I don't know how to work the focus on it yet.

Here is the gallery when public - http://www.brickshelf.com/cgi-bin/gallery.cgi?f=85160

Hope you all like it!!

Jon.
